Great wine, great selection of antipasti. Le Volpi E L'Uva offers a fantastic selection of regional wines by the glass and some mouth watering nibbles to go alongside, all served in a relaxing environment either at the bar or on their tables outside. If you're looking for the authentic Italian wine bar experience, then this place is for you.

Tucked away in a little square very close to the Ponte Vecchio this is an amazing place for lunch or a pre dinner drink. Great value cheese and meat platters (the truffle cheese is my favourite) and an amazing selection of wine. Try the prosecco which has the name of this place on the label, really reasonable and delicious, we... More

After wandering the streets and sites of Florence on a very hot July day we were in need of some refreshments! Heard about this bar in our guidebook. Have to say the recommendation was pretty exact - the most excellent selection of bruschetta (we opted for speck and cheese and tomato) and wine (we treated ourselves to some fizz and... More

Really nice small cosy place with amazing wine collection and tapas snacks. Must go when in Florence. The red desert wine is the best.

This is a super cozy place with an amazing wine list and great cheese! We loved it! It's a pretty small place so they might not have tables available outside.

Little wine place over the river Florence is full of these. Little corners where a wine bar has popped us. 5e for a glass of wine. 8e for a plate of cheese. Bruschettas brimming with fresh produce. Happy, helpful staff. Just the haven that tired feet seek out. Le Volpi was certainly one of these. We loved it so much... More

This is one of the best wine bars we went to in Italy. The selection is large and good, and the prices are very cheap. They also had a great meat and cheese selection. Its further into the street, so its a little more quiet and relaxing.

Recommended by the Sunday Times we gave this a try for our fourth visit to Florence and the wines, meats and cheeses were superb. Lots of helpful advice 9in English) from the lay who served us, the wines from small growers were sensational and the food was great. I tried the selection of Tuscan Cheeses with a wonderful Tuscan white... More

This is a glorious little place to rest those feet after touring round Florence seeing the sites. Just across the Ponte Vecchio bridge, you will find this place, stacked to the roof with some of the best Italian wines from the region. The tapas style food was delicious and the staff's knowledge in pairing up the wines to match the... More

It's a gem in a quiet street. Perfect place for a lunch after long day of sightseeing. The food is authentic and absolutely delicious. Wine list is fantastic. The staff is very knowledgable and give great recommendations about wine and food paring. I would definitely go back again and recommend this place!
