It is actually very easy to cook well and obtain great dishes if one begins with first choice ingredients, that's what we do every day, searching for the best products is our philosophy. We are mentioned by the most authoritative Guides with excellent evaluations. The restaurant is housed in the old lemon house with a glass and wrought-iron conservatory, overlooking the outside dining terrace with its ancient fishpond and rose-clad pergola. It is famous for its cuisine focused in the territory. A pleasant experience made of many different details: a refined and bright ambience, the terrace with its breathtaking view of the valley for romantic dinners, a superb Tuscan cuisine and a vast wine list with the Baracchi wines as well.

Great Service...Delicious!

The service was amazing. The wait staff is very attentive, and the atmosphere is romantic and peaceful. The food was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about it.

On the one hand this elegant restaurant is situated beautifully with breathtaking views, but on the other hand I think the food is overrated a little bit and it's certainly not worth so much money.....

Food was really what we can expect from that restaurant standard . Fine, full of flavors, typical ingredients from Italy. Beautiful view overlooking the valley, good service. Perfect.

Tricky to find and down narrow lanes, the restaurant is certainly appealing upon arrival. However, arriving early for a dinner booking we were ignored for nearly half an hour. Drinks and menus appeared at a very leisurely pace. A wine list was only offered when we had ordered our food. A general atmosphere of not caring seemed to pervade the... More

Lovely setting. Great wine from the property. Interesting local menu, but some hits / misses (we ate hear several times while staying on the property), but always a lovely meal.

The food was everything one would expect in a Michelin star restaurant. What a shame that the service didn't do the food justice. We started with a rather skimpy amuse - one delicious shrimp - and continued with Il Falconiere's versions of lasagna and of pici carbonara. Both were interesting and delicious variations on classic themes. Our beefsteak florentine was... More

We ate here just after our cooking class. The atmosphere, the grounds, and the service was fabulous. It's a tricky drive to get here, but it's worth the trip.

This goes against all the other meals which we have had whilst staying in Umbri that previously we have struggled to spend more than 100 euros this evening was 3 times that. Saying that is was excellent. We had the tasting menu which was around 7 or 8 courses. Stand out dishes were a very delicate burrata ravioli, tagliatelle with... More
