Quick glass of wine before exploring Cortona

Cute little wine cheese and sandwich shop - on the right as you enter Cortona town center. Our group enjoyed an evening glass of wine standing outside the shop allowing us to take in the activity and view from the street, which is a better than sitting in the shop. Very reasonable pricing.

We LOVED this place! It was simple, but we had a real italian and non turistic feeling when we where here. IMOLA (you should ask for her) is the owner and she makes an incredible cheese plate! She is very warm and nice, they also sell products for cooking at home, which was great, she gave us samples for us... More

For a delicious platter of Italian artisan cheeses and meats with a delicious wine, an inexpensive pasta or a panino, this is your spot. Sit outside and watch the Cortona foot traffic. During our week-long stay, we were here every morning for good inexpensive coffee/cappuccino and pastry, and almost every evening for a wine, pasta and night cap. Mamma Immola... More

We stopped here for lunch and sampled the bruschetta with truffle oil and tomato and the buffalo sandwich. The food was lovely and the bar man recommended some local red wine for us to try which was equally as delicious. Lovely atmosphere and very well priced

We come back to this bar and deli as one of our lunch stops in Cortona. The best meal as described elsewhere is bread with prosciutto or bread and cheese. The bread comes drizzled in olive oil. A good selection of beers to chose from. Alternatively a glass of wine. Good value and frequented by locals. No concessions given to... More

Cortona has several attractive bars where you can eat and drink well. But I would like to recommend the Enoteca Enotria for its special brand of excellence. It's situated down at the bottom of the main street as you enter the Centro Storico. In summer you can sit outside and watch the people pass by, in the winter the atmosphere... More

...but avoid the microwaved pasta! A very well located place, with very good cold cuts, nice selection of wines and fantastic prices! Our only disappointment was the pasta :-( We have ordered linguini porcini and came with too much cream and microwaved! This place would have been much better off if they did not serve pasts at all and stick... More

It was nice to hang out at a place where a lot of locals seem to hang out as well. The bartender seems a little gruff at first but he makes great recommendations for wine. The glasses are extremely reasonably priced and they have some decent food too. We went back here twice in one day just to hang out... More

We were in Cortona for the day and could not get enough of this amazing village. While every turn reveals a postcard scene the truly memorable moments came from within this tiny but beautiful cafe/restaurant. It had just started to rain and my husband and I went in search of somewhere to have a glass of wine. Enoteca Enotria grabbed... More
