We arrived around 8 last night and were stunned by the beauty of the village and the view of the surrounding hills. All through the night we kept admiring the sunset coulours, from a very nice terrace right in front of the restaurant. We had risottos (really well done, extremely tasty), panzanella (a kind of salad mixed with bread -... More

Book book book early to avoid disappointment. We had a great meal with friend and not disappoint at all. The wine was recommended by the staff and worth ever penny. While we waited for our table we were given a nice class of prosecco even though we were early. To end the meal a gift of the most amazing cherry... More

A very good dinner in this typical Cortona restaurant which was recommended by our very nice Hotel San Pietro in Cortona. Trattoria Toscana have quite the unique array of specialities such as ravioli limone and another dish of risotto chianti. Followed by veal chop and was all very fresh - they also catered well for our two children with very... More

This was the best home cooked we had in Tuscany. From the complementary welcome appetizer and after dinner drinks, I felt I was at home with family friends. Too many places in Cortona make you feel like just another tourist, but not here, you are family. The meals were reasonably priced and ample portions. Try the Ribollita, Tagliatelle ai porcini... We ordered: bresola with goat cheese, cabbage and bacon bruschetta, classic spaghetti, wild boar, and ribollita---all were outstanding. The owner/waiter was very nice with all diners (even those with finicky kids). This restaurant is a sure hit, especially if you worry about 'buyer's remorse' after dining.

We had dinner here with friends who live in Cortona, and the restaurant was full of locals! The meal was tasty, service good and no one rushed us so we greatly enjoyed a long dining experience.

We were visiting Cortona for the first time and had heard a lot of wonderful things about the restaurants in the Italian hill town. We choose this trattoria for our Sunday lunch and it was great. This seemed to be a popular restaurant for the locals. It is not very big and we were fortunate to get a table without... More

My wife and I lived in Italy and Sicily for five and a half years but that was a long time ago and we always wanted to return for a visit. We had the opportunity to return in May 2014 with our friends and wanted to show them something special. We visited Cortona, It as part of our 18 day... More

thank you very much , pleased to see that our work is appreciated and further confirms that we have been unfairly penalized by tripadvisor , giving us a ranking unjust , just because we provide our customers with iPAD to write a review and this is not accepted as a legitimate , but fortunately still many people still know how... We were referred here for dinner on our trip to Cortona while staying at Cortona Suites which is practically around the corner. We were in Cortona on a Monday night in March so walking the streets that night, we felt like we were the only people in town. However, arriving here we were welcomed like we had just arrived home.... More
