Unremarkable. Lacked Enthusiasm.

OK, it was a Monday evening in February, but still, they could shown a little more "zip." I was about to write "the worst pizza" but then I recalled eating a rock-like pizza somewhere else, so this place got the second place. The crust was tasteless and hard, toppings were also tasteless, so the combination was like eating a piece of wood. However, the service and the atmosphere was OK.

We shared a Pizza Norma and a beer each. Fantastic pizza - best we have had in taormina thus far. Unfortunately the servers (we had 3) were all a bit surly and unfriendly.

Our first choice pizza restaurant was unable to do pizza due to their oven breaking so we went in search of another. On the recommendation of that restaurant owner we tried Vecchia Taormina. The food was delicious. Great range of options and we all enjoyed every one of them. We went back there again just for their starters before we... More

We went looking for a quick meal and found one. Good quality pizza and pasta Al Norma. Small place inside but with a big terrace if weather is appropriate. Service was good and we'd go back.

We were recently in Taoromina for three days, and we ate lunch here twice. The wood fired pizza had a nice chewy crust and was nicely browned without being burned. We are a family of four and we each ordered a different pizza, and we were all happy. The restaurant was very nice about taking meat off of pizzas to... More

Mussels were great and lots of them. Wood fired pizza very good. Seafood salad looked wonderful. Good service. No view but a good place off the beaten path out of the crowd to have lunch

Went here for lunch in a nice secluded quiet courtyard off of piazza duomo. Enjoyed the pizza and anti pasti which was all tasty, we'll cooked and of great quality. Recommended for a reliable middle of the road Italian meal. Kids loved the electronic call buttons!

We have been looking for a restaurant with delicious food but not much expensive since in summer its not really easy to find any of this kind , but we suddenly saw Vecchia's signboard right at Corso Umberto. The staff is great and kind. I still remember them all smiling and singing songs. We could spent 3-4 hours sitting there... More

We checked out several pizzerias trying to get that 'authentic' taste and this was the clear winner. It also has a beautiful and secluded courtyard and a digital ordering system that means you never wait for a waiter or your bill. Loved it...both times!
