Short menu, but they know how to cook the dishes. The beef was extraordinary and so was the gratinated swordfish. They had a special pasta with mushroms (primi piato) that was to die for. You can skip the wine menu and go for the house wine, both read (medium full) and the white was really good and both well tempered.... More

Lots of people call themselves foodies or wine experts . My husband and I just like to be surprised by small local business who knock the socks of the so called Michelin starred establishments ( we have been to those to ) This place along with a few others in Taormina are worthy opponents of il Riccio in Capri if... My wife and I chose this restaurant on our first night in Taormina having wandered the streets for a good while trying to make that immensely difficult decision of judging the food and service on offer by a quick walk past. It was the relatively short menu, the un fussy and modern fresh design, and the enthusiastic staff along with... More

A lovely meal in this restaurant on a back street. Good seafood, and deconstructed dessert. A somewhat limited menu, which is good as they aren't trying to be all things to all people. Being a wine shop as well, the wine did not disappoint.

Excellent food. Had the tuna for the main course which was amazing. Wine list was very good as well. Service was particularly good. Location is slightly off the main restaurant area but go find this place.

The food, the wine, the service, the smiley staff, the location, the restaurant. Loved everything about it here. It's not 'cheap' so might be a restaurant to treat yourself to and we did! With 2 courses each for myself and Husband, one desert to share, nice bottle of wine, water, bill was just over €100 but well worth it. I... More

We discovered this lovely small restaurant by chance. It is in a quiet side street not far from the Corsa Umberto. The look of it really appealed to us and we were not disappointed. The crab gnocchi and homemade bread selection were especially delicious. The staff were helpful, warm and friendly and we had a lovely relaxed evening.

We have just had lunch at this delightful restaurant and the food was, quite simply, superb. I had the carpaccio of tuna with creamed peas, while my husband had linguine with scampi. Both were out of this world. The staff were charming and very knowledgeable. We shall be returning.

We found this place using trip advisor reviews actually. We did not book in advance but managed to get a table. Otherwise I would recommend to book. The staff is good and helpful but I would say at an average level, not as professional as in our winning restaurant of Taormina Osteria Rosso di Vino. The food was very original... More
