This quaint spot was our best meal in Taormina. The two sisters who guide you thru the meal are charming and helpful. Their good looks enhance the meal. The layered eggplant was awesome. Delicious food and great service. The ingredients are fresh and the menu changes daily. The sisters that run the restaurant are knowledgeable and attentive.

The two sisters running this place really know their stuff - food, wine and hospitality. It's a quiet little place off the beaten path (a very welcome sight in touristy Taormina) and the food their chef puts out is delicious. The portions are generous for the price (though not overly so) and the flavors and freshness of the ingredients were... More

Wow, unfortunately the lazy lunch in question was the last of the holiday... after an amazingly enthusiastic and detailed breakdown of the menu (it's all on the chalk board) we opted for a slight variation of what was described and was NOT disappointed. Afterwards, I wanted to stand in the main thoroughfare and ask what people were thinking of by... More

A chalkboard with the day's specials is held up and explained in delicious detail by one of the two sisters who run the osteria. The biggest problem is deciding what to order. It is a small restaurant so make a reservation.

The food was good but we felt rushed and the service was rushed and impersonal. Not a relaxing meal. The staff was rushing around. Not like an Italian dinner -

Walking along the main street, we were enticed down a side passage by a row of candles. At the end was this gem of a restaurant. Sitting outside we were given a limited menu ( always a good sign) which was in Italian ( as we were on Sicily.) We were guided through the menu by the very helpful sisters... More

My fiance and I spent a lovely evening here. Greeted by the two sisters that run the restaurant - they took us through the menu and made recommendations of what wine to have with our dinner based on our preferences. Being gluten free it may be easy to think that you can't take advantage of the wonderful Italian food but... More

This was a lovely experience, a real foodie restaurant for people who really appreciate good food and run by sisters who are obviously passionate about their food. I can only say that those who gave it any less than 'excellent', just do not appreciate beautiful food, they should have stuck to the tourist restaurants with their English translations typed out... This restaurant lives up to the reviews. The small blackboard menu is all about quality & variety which is mainly seafood. The tempura anchovies were excellent. If you opt for meat the lamb it is delicious & tender. Excellent wine recommendations. We each had a glass of prosecco very good as was the red wine. Staff knowledgeable, friendly & enthusiastic....
