We were looking for a nice restaurant that is good but not too expensive or fancy and the Malvasia worked out very well. It's a family run place which is evident in the friendly and caring service and quality of the food. It is spotlessly clean too. Really liked the Caponata vegetable dish. We sat outside with a good view... More

I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Having read lots of positive trip advisor reviews we made an online booking, as it turns out on the day the restaurant was closed. Unbelievably the staff opened up, forgoing their day off so as not to disappoint us and we are so grateful. The service was excellent, we were given chick pea... More

The restaurant has a great menu selection - we were a group of 4 Maltese, and each ordered different items: fish, pasta, seafood, and meat.. They were all absolutely divine! And I must add that the staff and management were very welcoming and helpful with tips for getting around Taormina and surroundings. We will surely visit again during our next... More

Wonderful family restaurant, with Fabrici watched careful by his mother and his wife. Terrific pasta and lovely rolled ingolata (sp?) spada (rolled swordfish in breadcrumbs). All and all a fun and delicious evening.

The restaurant is tiny inside. Make a reservation! The good is made by mamma (Eleonora) served by the son and daughter in law. We had mozzarella and tomato salad. The cheese was beautifully fresh. Then three of us had ravioli stuffed with lobster in a rose shrimp sauce, linguine with a lemon cream sauce and penne with pesto. The last... More

Begin with delicious chick pea flour crisps (on the house and delicious) and follow with caponata and a pasta. Their special pasta are always excellent, particularly swordfish with zucchini. this is a small and simple place, with the mother in the kitchen and son or daughter serving. Since we always go in the off season, I can't speak to being... More

Recommend in particular the linguine al lemone (with pistachio nuts) and the risotto de frutti di mare. The hospitality of this family restaurant gives you the feeling of being welcomed in an authentic Sicilian home to taste the pasta cooked by Mama! Simply delicious.

wandering the streets of Taormina looking for a restaurant called Tiramisu, we found it closed and a shop owner directed us a few doors down from his store. it was a Wednesday night in January right after new year's, so basically off-season. we were expecting most places to be a little stuffy and overpriced but could not have been more... My friend and I decided to try this restaurant based on TA ratings and was quite disappointed. My friend's pasta with tomato was simple and tasted ok (you can't really go wrong with a tomato pasta!) but my my pasta con sarde came out really oily and tasted like it had too much fennel in it. The sardines also tasted... More
