One of the best values in Taormina...don't miss it.

This is a great family owned restaurant and it feels more real and homey than most other spots in Taormina. Find it....right near the big grocery store....and go there. You will not be disappointed. We got there at peak time with no booking and yet the fabulous host managed to seat us straight away with little fuss. Menu is simple but somehow full of choice and the direction given by our host was on the money. It's a simple offering often missed- good food and hospitable service - all in abundance in this little... More

This is a small family owned restaurant. The mother cooks and her son manages the service. He is very helpful with English speakers that struggle a bit with Italian. The minestrone soup must be Sicilian because it was green with a variety of beans. Not quite what I was expecting, but interesting. The rest of the meal was okay. Also,... More

It is a small restaurant near Porta Catania, offering a great service and delicious food. If you are staying in Taormina for one night this is the place where you should eat. If you stay longer despite the options you certainly will pass by this restaurant because the street is just in front of Porta Catania one of the entries... More

We tried this restaurant because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. The meal started with cheese puffs as a free amuse bouche. We ordered a Sicilian appetizer platter and two taglia - octopus and steak. The appetizers were great and could have been a meal in and of themselves, but the octopus and steak with arugula and... If you are looking for great Italian food, a cozy place, warm hearted owners, this is the place!! The nice lady who owns the place really own it. I had the spaghetti al limone, with cream and pistachios. Nothing can top it. And comparing the prices here in taormina, it's fine. We certainly will be back!!!!

My mother and I came for lunch on a rainy day in February. We were a bit skeptic at the beginning because the place was packed with large group of tourists, but the mamma chef, and her children were very nice to us. We ordered a minestrone as a starter, followed by grilled swordfish and homemade maccheroni with tomato/aubergine sauce.... More
