Stumbled upon it just down from the Doumo off Corso Umberto. Immediately we were made very welcome with complimentary glasses of Prosecco and lovely Bruscheta. All staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Sarah. Great range of home made food on the menu . We enjoyed the Parmesan,Tomato and Aubergine starter, Grilled Swordfish,Raviola Parmitan and bucked the Italian trend and... More

This was a friendly restaurant a little off the busy main street, but easy to find. Everything we ate(2 visits) was good. You must try the ravioli with pistachio cream sauce. It is different than any other pasta we ever had and it really stands out as an excellent dish. The owner and the British waitress was very nice and... More

We dined at several venues in Toarmina but returned three times to Dons simply for the great food that was well priced with friendly service.

Excellent varied menu at a reasonable price. Service, ambience and Sicilian courtesy could not be faulted. What could be better than home made pasta cooked the Sicilian way in an historic quarter of this beautiful town. Just a stone's throw from the Duomo Piazza you can dine inside, on the terrace or in a small square next to the restaurant.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in Taormina for 3 days and the best place we ate at was this restaurant. We wandered around Taormina's side streets locating non-touristy places and stumbled on this restaurant. And we were so pleased that we did! While we waited for a table, we were provided with complimentary prosecco. For our mains I ordered the... More

We spent a fantastic week in Taormina with our friends and were fortunate enough to find this wonderful restaurant just a stones throw from the Duomo. In fact it was so good we went there three times! Each time we ordered different dishes and were never disappointed. We were greeted with big smiles and complimentary glasses of Prosecco and the... I visited Taormina for two weeks, and at the start of the holiday tried various restaurants along the Corso Umberto. However, after four or five nights I returned to Don Ciccio because I found it far superior to the others with regard to food quality, service and cost effectiveness. I also prefered it because there weren't the usual punters trying... More

My wife and I spent a couple of days in Taormina over Easter and Dan Ciccio was one of our landmark restaurants, having eaten at this place every time we previously visited Taormina. We recommended this restaurant to some friends of ours and they were delighted with the experience of eating here. As usual, the food was very good and... More

A welcome sight on a blustery night. A traditional trattoria with a friendly welcome and good service with complimentary prosecco when we arrived! Porcini tagliatelle particularly good; homemade desserts lovely and all food reasonably priced. Wine on list is expensive, however house wine is available and not a bad drop.
