Searched the Don Ciccio out due to the reviews on Tripadvisor(thanks fellow contributors, it's the reviews rather than the overall scores that tell the true story) and was not let down. Lovely little trattoria down a side street just behind the fountain of the Piazza Duomo. Not the cheapest, a full course meal with wine iis going to be in... More

Loved the pasta dishes at this great little restaurant. Friendly staff, fast service, nice ambience. Can't ask for more. Every dish we tried was amazing. Solid free WiFi too - which was useful.

The service was great, typical Sicilian meals, simple but extremely good and fresh. Looks like a family restaurant, aside from the busy Taormina main touristic street.

Prior to our stay in Taormina, we looked at reviews on Trip advisor and made a list of recommended restaurants to eat. We tried this one and it was our favourite of all of them so we returned there again on our last night. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the menu choice was good. We couldn't fault the... Had a nice meal here always feels never sat outside in the warm weather. Plenty of choice on the menu and food was good but we had better whilst in Taormina. Around €30 a head including wine but no starters so pretty expensive for larger families. Enjoyable but had better

We ate here last night. The restaurant is down a side road, slightly away from the tourist hordes. The service was really friendly, the waiter recommended the Gnocci with prawns in a pesto sauce my girlfriend had spaghetti with seafood. Both were lovely. For mains I had grilled swordfish and she had Steak with mushrooms, both were fantastic. Perfectly cooked,... More

Pasta with parmigianni sauce was excellent and so home made tiramisu. In fact the best ı have ever had. House wine was also very good. We went twice in 4 days.:)

Simply put...fantastico! Location is excellent, quality and choice of food is beyond reproach, but what separates this trattoria from it's peers is the level service. Two people taking orders and serving all night and we felt as though we were the only couple in the restaurant, such was the quality of service. I would certainly recommend trying here.

Based on TripAdvisor I convinced my daughter to eat at Trattoria Don Ciccio. It was a five minute walk from the hotel just below the small Piazza del Duomo (go around the fountain in the plaza and down the hill a bit). It was a little cool in May, so we sat inside. We had a terrific meal: I had... More

Good service and their housemade ravioli was awesone. Fair price and extensive menu. We do recommend this restaurant.
