Simply great.

Once discovered, there is no need to go anywhere else. La Dracena is tucked away off the main street. It has at least three levels. The one at the top is a wonderfully picturesque courtyard brimming and overflowing with flowering plants and trellises. I believe demand is high for this area and... read more

We found this apparently lovely spot when walking around Corso Umberto street in beautiful Taormina. A bit apart from the crowds of Umberto, nice and quiet. We were, however, quite disappointed as service was very slow (took half an hour to take our order, then almost 45 min to bring it) in spite of a half-empty restaurant. My risotto was... More

Having walked up to the georgeous theater overlooking Etna and the coast, we chose this restaurant for lunch because it was off the Main Street and away from scads of touristy shops. Nothing against the shops or all the folks in them but we were looking for something without a huge sign out front showing pictures of pizza and arancini... More

The spaghetti was the best I have ever had anywhere in the world! We tried some restaurants in Taormina but this was by far the best quality food which is why we returned for a 2nd time.

This place was tucked away but in a lovely courtyard with very attentive service. We had already eaten but wanted to experience their little terrace. The majority of it was closed since it was off season but the banyan(?) tree set a nice mood. Great wine selection.

Very good family-run restaurant in a garden setting. Food very enjoyable and service very good as well. Better quality and value than the obvious selections on the main street.

Good food and service at a decent price. Looked like a typical Italian family business with the people serving you there having a genuine pride and professionalism in what they are offering the customer.

Sicily will surprise folks, in general, with the quality of food served in restaurants across the island. Downhill on a picturesque strollable side street is this delightful find that has food that is EX-CEL-LENT and is of big city caliber. Service was surprisingly smooth, capable and quietly pleasing. From looking around the other occupied tables it appears that any dish... More

Down one of the side streets of the main street this and another restaurant Rosso Peperoccino were a great find. Superb service by smiling staff where nothing was too much trouble. Great food rissotto with Sea Bass and asparagus and Meat rolls recommended. House wine very good and only 4€ for a high quality house. A definite must for your... More

Another couple and my husband and I ate at this restaurant our first night in Taormina as it was close to our apartment. We could not have started our stay in Sicily on a higher note. We all loved our meals, 2 veal dishes, spaghetti in meat sauce and swordfish rolls for some. Not only was the food good but... More
