Best restaurant in Taormina

We came to La Dracena for our final meal of our holiday in Taormina, and it was definitely our best. We had to book as we had turned up a few nights previously with no tables available. My husband and I during our trip in sicily decided to visit Taormina where we had dinner in this nice place!food is Actually good and the location is nice even if there is no view! I have to complain about two things: we wait to much to order and to be served and my dish, tagliolini with sea urchins, didn't have sea... More

It was amazing the food and everything. We loved the spaghetti with tomato sauce. I'm so impressed. (Stanley, aged 7) The setting of the restaurant is beautiful and the food is very good. The service is also very good. (Davinder, aged 42)

The restaurant is located off the main street away from the hustle and bustle. The small intimate courtyard was lovely. Service was good and we both enjoyed the food. We shared a Capresse salad to start, I had tuna steak and my husband had sword fish for our main courses. The prices were very reasonable in relation to the quality... More

Had lunch here today. Service was excellent. Two salads wine, water and beer. Will visit again for evening meal. But on first visit loved the setting, nice courtyard restaurant, friendly staff, food was very nice.

We decided to eat at this restaurant as it is tucked away in a side street away from the main hustle and bustle. Staff very attentive and friendly. Very romantic setting. Good choice of menu very traditional Sicilian food. Well presented and tasty. Worth a visit.

Great meal here last night. The service was spot on. Nice terrace area to sit. Our bill was 90euro and that was 2 starters, 3mains, 1 side, 1 dessert, 1 bottle of wine at 20euro and 2 soft drinks plus 6euro service charge. The grilled chicken and leg of lamb was beautiful. Would recommend it especially the lamb!

We had an excellent lunch here. The food and service were good, and most of all we enjoyed the lovely little garden where we were seated. We arrived before 1:00 and had our choice of seats. By 2:00 the outdoor seating area was full, so be early if you want the best seats! We also liked the location, about 1.5... More

Superb food with a different menu. Family run. Not overpriced. Delightful cool setting. Helpful friendly staff - never pushy - and they put themselves out. My wife's vegetarian and they had a good different vegetarian choice. It's behind the cathedral down an alleyway. Once we found it on our penultimate night, we booked immediately for the following night. We only... More

We found this apparently lovely spot when walking around Corso Umberto street in beautiful Taormina. A bit apart from the crowds of Umberto, nice and quiet. We were, however, quite disappointed as service was very slow (took half an hour to take our order, then almost 45 min to bring it) in spite of a half-empty restaurant. My risotto was... More
