Never mind the food... the guitarist is great

This is a busy restaurant on the Corso Umberto. It has the usual wide menu encompassing pasta, fish and meat. Service is quick and fairly efficient. Food acceptable but not brilliant. But the classical guitarist playing a broad selection of old pop tunes, including many Paul Simon numbers... read more

This restaurant is located on Corso Umberto, the main street in Taormina with tables located just off the street so you are able to people watch but be back from the main hustle. Prices were mostly average but a little expensive for drinks. Pizzas seemed to be average price for the area. Unlike other restaurants in the area the staff... More

But the classical guitarist playing a broad selection of old pop tunes, including many Paul Simon numbers brightened up the whole evening. Not dear.

The restaurant lis located on the main pedestrian way. Tables are small nod wine very expensive (3.5 times price in wine store)There is some sharp practice. Having ordered the catch of the day our fish was presented as being for 2 persons - not mentioned at time of ordering.we rejected this approach and got a fish each. We would not... More

Had dinner here - calamari (chewy), seafood pasta, and fresh fish. It was decent, but not remarkable. There was a singer/guitarist who was very good - all in all a decent meal.

I stopped in this little restaurant for lunch one day. The service was excellent, the food was good and it was inexpensive.

OK - so it is probably a bit touristy, and the menu is geared towards visitors, but we ate here a couple of times and the food was good and the staff helpful. On both occasions live music was being played by a guitarist who was very good. The staff for people watching and enjoying the views of the wedding... More

By far not the best meal I have had but not the worst either. The restaurant is in the heart of town with indoor and outdoor seating. The food was good and reasonable for two with wine and water. Guitar player and singer very god and set a nice mood indeed.

Really surprised at the reviews. We went here every night for our weeks holiday. The staff got to know us and treated us well .There is a wide variety of food on the menu and loads for vegetarians as we are. Loved the place personally...good food and good service.

Happened to stop at this restaurant for dinner yesterday with a group of girlfriends. We all ordered pasta and it was delicious! Perfectly aldente with rich tasty sauces. The service was warm, friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was very nice. Highly recommended for a good simple meal that is value for money.

Our first meal after landing. Food average, service poor despite us being the only customers at the time. The waitress seemed more interested in getting us to order more. Considering what we had the cost was surprisingly expensive. If you wish to visit I suggest you check the menu first.
