I have been there with my whole family the Sunday after my brother's wedding in Taormina at the end of June. Chef Felice delivered an excellent experience of great Sicilian food. Really unforgettable (I am Italian but I live in Ireland...)! Cozy environment and friendly staff completed a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for food passionates.

While shopping in Taormina, we were lucky to find this wonderful little restaurant that is located just a few steps away from the main street. Very quiet and has wonderful ambiance. Had a great lunch and staff was very accommodating. Finished up lunch with a great esrpesso!

We ate here 2 days ago. We were surprised to be able to get a table without booking, we now know why! The resturant is plagued by flies, I have the bites to prove it. We ate here last year and also in previous years and it's been great, but not this year. The food is average now, not very... More

Having read reviews on Rosso Peperoncino I thought we were in for a treat. However I was a little disappointed with some aspects of our visit. For the duration of the meal. We were tormented by small flies that presumably take refuge in the trees & hedges in the garden. For this reason we couldn't enjoy the meal as much... More

After visiting this restaurant 5 or 6 years running I couldn't wait to go back. My husband and walked to it to book a table, we were on holiday on a half board basis but I insisted we eat here due to my past good experiences. We arrived at the restaurant at the pre booked time to be greeted by... More

We found this place tucked away at the bottom of a side street. The restaurant is smart and modern, set around an old garden area. The food we had was excellent (lasagne and freshly caught Sea Bass - cooked to perfection). The carafe of rosso (red) wine we had was served chilled, which we thought was a little unusual, but... My husband and I chose this restaurant as our last meal in taormina and were greatly disappointed, especially for the price. Granted, we are both "foodies" and have both worked in the upscale restaurant business as some point in our lives, we can be tough critics. The service was good, no frills/friendliness. Both of our pasta dishes were over cooked... More

We were looking for a nice restaurant to dine in last Friday, and all of a sudden my mother in law remembered that a friend had suggested this restaurant, so off we went to Rosso Peperoncino, and I must say we were not disappointed. We started off with a mix of antipasti, a Parmiggiana di Melanzane which was melt in... More

Was there and can just say it was excellent. Like this restaurant and other's have to impress by food to attract the tourist's as it has no Seaview. Based on this I choose then mainly restairants without Seaview, because the view is great, but the food not that impressive. This restaurant has an open area enclosed by old walls. Great... More

My fiancée and I had arranged to be married in Taormina and wanted an intimate, Italian restaurant for our lunchtime wedding reception (we were a party of 17 adults and 4 children) which served excellent food at a reasonable price. We had contacted the restaurant directly to discuss menus and were offered the following meat & fish menus: Meat menu:... More
