Beautiful

We had a wonderful dining experience at Principe Cerami. it's typical formal dining you'd expect from a place of its level. The service is perfection, the guests were a mix of people from around the world, only 7 tables but still, a good mix, and the wine that was chosen for us was perfection. The food was good, but was... More

Dear Guest, Thank you so very much for taking the time to review Principe Cerami Restaurant on TripAdvisor. I am delighted that the general feel of the dinner was good and that you have appreciated the extra courses(amuse bouche, palate cleansers, predesserts ecc) even without WOW factor. Thank you again for the time you have spend to leave your impression.... More

This restaurant has a great location and an excellent view of the sea and Etna. We had the largest tasting menu, and it was excellent with the wine pairing. The sommelier was very friendly. We celebrated a birthday, and they had prepared a surprise cake, free of charge. A great evening!

Dear Anebry123, than you so much for you review. It was a great idea to choose the testing Menu because gives you a better idea of the general concept of Massimo Mantarro kitchen. I will pass your compliment to Alessandro (our Sommelier) and the entire Team of Principe Cerami Restaurant Sincerely Luisa Cacopardo Assistant Manager More

Definitely deserves a Michelin 2*. The food was extraordinarily good and the staff were fabulous. We were there in July and dined outside which added to the experience.

Refined setting, superb service, excellent wines. The dishes are proudly Sicilian but in our opinion would benefit from some more audacity on part of the chef. Prices as expected and given the venue and the level of service, worth the visit.

First of all, the restaurant only has 7 tables…..so make your reservations. It is very romantic, service is wonderful, and the food is excellent. The breads they offer are truly wonderful - the pistachio bread is not to be missed. My husband and I wanted to try more items than were on the tasting menu so we opted to go... More

The view at sunset, with full moon is incredible. The service is fantastic, kind, knowledgeable. A great wine list is presented by the sommelier, the local wines are a good pairing to the menu. Even my teenage son, who is picky with his food, had a wonderful experience here. They were very flexible with his choice from the menu.

You must make a prior reservation for this terrace restaurant in the 15th century monastery turned 5-star San Domenico Palace hotel. There are only 16 seats, each with a wonderful sea and Etna view. The food selections were wonderful and our wine pairings magnificent. The only thing that bothered me was upon entering the hotel, there were no directional signs... More

We wanted to go to a Michelin rated restaurant in Taormina and this one looked like a great choice. We had been to several Michelin restos in Italy (including 3 star in Modena, and another two star and several one stars) and of all of them this was our favorite. They had (like La Pergola in Rome) a 'water' list... More

Well, I hope so, because I've always relied on Michelin as the gold standard in rating the finest restaurants in the world, but I am losing my faith....
