A friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant and loved it! The atmosphere is great, the food was delicious, and the service was friendly. It was nothing fancy, but it was lovely.

This restaurant really was outstanding. The food was excellent. The service was excellent - both owners and staff worked well together and seem to have a truly congenial rapport. And the setting was absolutely lovely. And to top it off, our hosts threw in a little extra dessert wine for us even after we had paid our bill. We went... More

We went here our last evening in Taormina. It's a very beautiful setting with outside dining under trees. The food was equally impressive. My wife had the chicken parmesan and I had the Tagliatelle with shrimp. The flavors were excellent and we had an excellent dining experience.

We ate twice in the orangery and had the two best meals in two holidays in Taormina. The ambience was charming, as was the proprietor, who struck just the right note between helpful and pushy. As one of us is a vegetarian, it made a nice change for both of us to feel thoroughly spoilt. We found the service to... More

We visited this restaurant mid-week, and enjoyed a lovely dinner, although they did mistakenly serve courses in the wrong order! However, as they did so with charm, and the garden setting was lovely, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned the following week...a big mistake.. the whole of the middle of the restaurant was taken up with... Thought we'd discovered a little gem. The garden area is charming, and beautifully lit. We asked for recommendations from the fish menu. The fish in lemon sauce was so sour my cheeks contracted! My husband's Sicilian fish dish (one of our favourite dishes) was so highly spiced that the flavour of fish totally disappeared. The recommended side dishes were so... More

On recommendations I took 27 people there for a meal. We where treated with respect and having a few picky eaters amongst us they quickly altered their dishes to make them happy. We found the staff to be attentive and friendly, the seafood risotto was to die for, it was so flavourful. The swordfish was juicy and tasty and the... More

Had our first nights meal here after a friends recommendation. As per other review felt we were looked down on as we did not order from all the menu. Pasta dish was good, prawn,s were average not special. Very pricy for what we had. Other Sicilian customer had issues about waiting time and walked out. Nice courtyard setting

My husband and I dined here our first night in Taormina. The patio is very romantic setting. I got the feeling we were being treated slightly gruffly for not ordering 2 of everything from each section of the menu. The good: caponata with eggplant, polpette (meatballs). The average: swordfish pasta- the fish was good, the pasta was OK. Desserts: can't... More

We ate here 3 times during our stay in Taormina - 2 dinners and 1 lunch. The orangetree-garden is very nice, and has a great atmosphere. You should book a table in advance. I need gluten free food, and they have a seperat "Celiac-menu", which was great. The food was very good, and the staff was nice. The service could... More
