We've eaten here dinner and we were lucky because they had made reservation for near all seats. We were sitting in their garden where atmosphere is very nice. Staff was ok but nothing special they try to do their job but there is nothing what they love. We ordered chicken breast in lemon sauce for our children because they didn't... More

service was great, food was really amazing and the decor very romantic. Out of our week in Taormina this was the best restaurant we ate at! I highly recommend it.

Came here last night with my girlfriend for dinner, the restaurant is set in a gorgeous garden with lots of fairy lights that help to create a lovely ambiance. It's very romantic. The owner showed us to our table, I couldn't make my mind up about the wine so he recommended a local white wine from Mt Etna. We shared... More

We stumbled across 'A Zammara completely by accident, and are so pleased we did! It's just off the main drag through Taormina, in a small garden shaded by orange and lemon trees. The staff were very friendly, and incredibly helpful with the menu. We were in a group of four and everyone was delighted with everything they had......the fresh pasta... More

a beautiful little garden setting in the middle of Taormina, with all of the beautiful accoutrements that make you wish it was the little cafe right next door at home. Anything you order will be about as well-prepared and tasty as anything you've had and if you happen to order the pasta tono with oil and toasted breadcrumbs... it Will... More

Beautiful setting in a garden shaded by orange and lemon trees illuminated by little lights. The owner and staff very welcoming and relaxed and within a short time we found ourselves sipping wine in this beautiful setting and wishing we had found it sooner. The polpetta wrapped in lemon leaves are delicious and moist. The sesame coated pork medallions in... More

We had several meals out in Taormina, and wanted to go back to Zammara for our last dinner in Sicily. The owners and staff were easily welcoming and never intrusive. A junior waiter came and told us how England were doing against Italy in the World Cup: not of huge interest to me, but it is an example of the... More

for an upmarket tourist town there was a surprising lack of gluten free advertised. We found a great shop for supplies just outside the Messina gate. Luckily we also found Zamara a lovely traditional trattoria in a garden below Piazza IX Avril that has a completely gluten free menu - the only one of our two week trip, very unusual... More
