Well worth the treck.

We spotted this little restaurant from the Corso Umberto and had to run the gauntlet of the greeters outside other places on the way. We're so glad we did. We dined here twice and enjoyed both meals. The starters are enormous so are ideal for sharing. The mains are plentiful but you need to order... read more

We ate here twice in our weeks stay in Taormina. Both times the food was amazing. The staff were friendly and catered to our every need. I ordered the meatballs which were fantastic, so good I had them twice! The setting was lovely, eating under orange trees in the yard the first time and the second eating inside where the... More

Ate here twice last week while on holiday in Taormina the food is very good & catered for my gluten free diet that I need to follow. Service good but can be slightly slow but as on holiday this didn't bother us. Enjoyed eating in the garden area with the Orange trees growing in the middle lit with fairy lights.... More

Great little restaurant - glad we searched it out after reading such good reviews about it. The service was excellent, the setting in a courtyard under a spreading orange tree was perfect and most importantly the food and wine were delicious. We never felt rushed at any stage of the evening. Reasonably priced as well. Thoroughly recommended!!

A few steps away from the bustle of the Corso Umberto and the pavement restaurants that crowd every alleyway with hardly room for elbows, here is a peaceful garden restaurant with space between the tables and lemon trees above. Service is pleasant and polite, neither rushed nor slow. The waiters are happy to explain and discuss the menu. Food is... More

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel. The setting was nice in a private courtyard. The service was spotty. The food was hit and miss. Would not recommend. Many other places to try that could not be worse.

We walking around looking for a place to eat and we literally fell into this place, a couple of restaurants before were beckoning for us to come in, but I hate that feel like I'm being hustled. We saw this place and walked in to a beautiful enclosed outdoor garden/ courtyard...The food was out of this world, had a seafood... More

Walk past all the restaurants that have young sales reps trying to drag you in, go to bottom of this narrow street to find this fab restaurant. Yes the staff are older and a bit old fashioned but boy do they know how to serve you and what food it is, huge wine list a bit pricey but definitely worth... More

Excellent garden restaurant down from the main street. Calm and peaceful with excellent service and great attention to detail. Had the best caponata and pasta a la norma of our stay in Taormina. I would highly recommend it.

We went to 'A Zammara based on the recommendation of an American couple that we had met at another restaurant the previous night. We were very pleased with the result. The dining area is an enclosed courtyard which is quiet and isolated from the noise of the street. We shared an excellent Pasta alla Norma to start then had fresh... More
