Excellent fish!

This small restaurant is a hidden gem for those looking for good fish and sea food Sicilian way. The few tables on their little balcony offer a beautiful view over the coast and their menu offers a large choice of dishes. I would highly recommend trying any of their fish dish. The food here was first rate, the service also. It is not the cheapest place to eat in Taormina and is a little cramped. The meal was quickly and very well prepared and the food delicious. I would eat here again, for a special occasion.

We rang up to book for dinner as a party of 7, unfortunately this booking was never recorded, however the restaurant made an effort to seat us quickly when we arrived. The restaurant can get quite noisy which was very difficult for one of our group who wears a hearing aid. The food was very yummy and the staff polite... More

Upon arriving in Taormina myself and my friend chefs of more than 30 years experience between us, we're looking for a hidden gem with the town and boy did we find it! After wandering the streets consulting out lonely plant guide book we stumbled upon trattoria da niño, which was buzzing from the moment we arrived till the moment we... More

We asked our hotel for a place where we could get nice seafood and they recommended this trattoria. The food was incredible, home style Italian, with some of the best pasta I have ever had and friendly staff. This is a must for anyone who wants authentic Italian cooking.

I enjoyed a lovely dinner with tuna tartare starter, tartufi pasta. The service was excellent. The food delicious. The flavors were subtle, the chef allowed the taste of the fine ingredients to shine. Finished with complimentary almond liquor and fruit. I was unsure about eating the raw fish, but it was delicious. Follow the waiter's suggestions!

We had a wonderful dinner here up on the terrace. Great traditional Sicilian food. We had very good service and a really nice meal. Would highly recommend but you need to book.

We had read about this restaurant in a guidebook and sought it out - it truly surpassed our expectations - The place was small and comfortable. Service was impeccable. Waiters were welcoming and knowledgeable. One waiter in particular was extra friendly and fun to be with. My husband had beef milanaise with ricotta and pistachios and I had papardelle noodles... Poor starters, which we thought the main courses had redeemed, but then the pudding was a big let down. We ordered chocolate mousse, which just wasn't chocoate!
