Great pizza and views in Taormina

Great views, good service, very large (enough for two) pizzas from wood burning stove at less than 8 euros. 1 liter delicious Sicilian house wine for 10 euros and a giant calzone for less than 9 euros. Pasta and other dishes avail. Go

Granduca was suggested by a friend and we appreciated with the quality and the taste of the food when we had our dinner there. And of course...the georgeous view made our food even more enjojable. We went this restaurant without reservation on Friday night in February. They have given us one of the best tables with marvelous sea view. We... More

There were a lot of restaurants to choose from but this had the best prices for pasta as we wanted the traditional Sicilian pasta. Beautiful views and the food was incredible. Would love to go again.

Dropped in by chance as this has an unassuming entrance from the main boulevard. My wife and I had a late lunch here. I had a Pizza Diavolo, and she had some lamb chops with vegetables. My pizza was divine, and even better with a nice Messina beer. The lamb chops were OK. The highlight of the venue is a... More

It being February and all, we were struggling to find anywhere with good recommendations actually open for lunch. Having perused several unpromising menus we settled on Granduca more or less by default: the prices looked OK and there were a couple of things on the menu we hadn't come across before so we chanced it. The dining room is extraordinary... More

I've been to Taormina many times and have 2 or 3 favorite places to stop, today was a Monday out of season and all my regular haunts were closed, luckily for me, what a lovely place to have lunch. Arriving early we had the corner (best) table on the first floor glassed dining room, with magnificent sea views. Service was... More

Visited this restaurant twice while staying in Taormina, we found the service friendly and attentive. A wide choice of food is availble which is well prepared and presented. Views available from tables by the window are incredible.

We found this restaurant to be super touristy. This might not necessarily be a bad thing if that's what you are looking for, but we specifically asked for our hotel's assistance in finding a more authentic Sicilian restaurant. Upon arrival, we immediately encountered a hurried host, who seemed to be perpetually irritated throughout our meal. After being seated, it took... More

This restaurant is situated on the main street commanding a lovely view. Very cosy and tasteful decor. Excellent service and delicious food. We felt very welcome and is always a restaurant we visit when in Taormina.

Visited Granduca twice in one week. Nice decor, tables by the window have an incredible view. Menu is uncomplicated and very nice. Pizzas are especially tasty. Very friendly service. Will definitely return.
