I had only one lunch at this multi stars restaurant in the hearth of Taormina. An amazing view on the gulf and a well decorated hall along with luxury cutlery make this restaurant a romantic spot to go. Perhaps the food may be better or at least better shown and explained by the staff.

Our lunch was delicious. A spotlessly clean and fairly large restaurant downstairs from the main pedestrian walk in old town which opens out onto a great covered balcony with uninterrupted views of the ocean. The prices were fair and reasonable, the service was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Prosciutto and melon salad was generous and of course... More

If you want to avoid paying a fortune for the view, this is the place to go. Do not eat in the upstairs dining room but walk down to the terrasse on the sea where the pizzas are delicious.

This restaurant looked good as we walked last it and had some great reviews. It is on two lower levels - the first being the main restaurant out on a covered patio. You are asked if you want the restaurant or the pizzeria, which we wanted, so you are then directed to the floor below, with an open patio overlooking... More

October 17th, still enjoying a fantastic dinner in a paradise garden with an endless view. They change their pizza menu quarterly! Products are seasonal and local. This is pizza art! Try it! Great also with children.

We went here on our first night in Taormina. It was bucketing down with rain so we just picked somewhere we hoped we could get a decent pizza. The restaurant is split by a strange glass wall into a pizzeria and a restaurant. We were seated in the pizzeria section. The decor is cheap and outdated but the staff were... More

Our last night in Taormina was spoilt from the moment we walked into the restaurant. The waiters were cold and unfriendly. After only satisfactory starters we waited nearly an hour for our main course (we noted others were also complaining over the length of time between courses). My steak was served on a cold plate and therefore the accompanying 'hot'... More

On our last day, before flying home, we ventured into Granduca. We could not believe the views which are simply marvellous and we kicked ourselves for not visiting this restaurant earlier in our holiday. We chose Pizza which were simply delicious, probably the best we had eaten throughout our stay. Thoroughly recommend this venue and the menu looks as if... More

Decided to visit the pizzeria part of this restaurant,p after seeing it in the lonely Planet guidebook. The pizzeria is on a lower balcony than the main restaurant (which looked lovely). We arrived before that section had opened which didn't seem to impress the staff but we were happy to wait once we had managed to order a beer as... More

The view is unbeatable! The service was simply very good. The food which we thought would be just ok was actually quite good my wike had the spaghetti alla norma and i had the spaghetti alla sarde both were very good! It should be visited on a sunny afternoon for lunch to try the seafood.
