Had a lovely meal at Casa Grugno with friends from the area. They strongly recommended and we agree that it is an exquisite experience. Out beef and pasta were delicious and the service was top of the line. We were very satisfied with the full meal in terms of quality and price.

This is a lovely little hideaway just off the main area of Taormina. Very friendly waitors and excellent food. Beautiful position and an escape from the masses.

We visited this restaurant with a group of 10 and high expectations that were definitely not met. As a starter, I had the in orange marinated anchovies. They were very good but one would expect something extraordinary in a Michelin one star restaurant. The main course was beef the "Sicilian way" that was completely tasteless. There was little else on... More

Tucked round the back of the Duomo, this restaurant requires a little determination to find, however it is well worth the effort. Traditional Sicilian cooking by a chef who cares about his ingredients. I had tagliatelle with octopus and a long slow cooked beef cheek. The tagliatelle was fresh and the octopus was cooked perfectly, the sauce used the ink... More

Loved the presentation and the food. Sophisticated and upscale. If you like pasta with tomato sauce american style, do not go there: this is not the place. Small portions and $$$$. Gourmet, beautiful atmosphere for those who appreciate fine dining

We celebrated my birthday in Casa Grugno during our Sicilian vacation, and what a nice eating experience. The food was very creative and flavoursome. But, the wine menu lacked a little adventure and the service was a little stiff (as are the prices!) So with their exelent chef, and with a little tweaking and modernization around the somillier and wait... More

This restaurant in Taormina is situated in a small "hidden" street, right becide the church in the square (by the fountain) of Corso Umberto. The localities give a good atmosphere. We went for one of the set menues - I had 6 dishes. The staff were most helpful and had the best expertice to find the right wine choices for... More
