After a few unfortunate experiences in naples, sicilian cuisine has been a compensation! Al giardino offers authentic sicilian tastes (we had octopus salad, aubergines with mozzarela and tagliatelli with seafood), fresh ingredients, nice friendly atmosphere, better make reservation before showing up, the place was full!

Overall very satisfying. The tagliatelle with pistacchio pesto and shrimp was delicious. The house wine a bit disappointing. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

We really liked this restaurant which was recommended to us by our hotel. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Our food was delicious and very reasonably priced.

We stayed in Taormina at the height of the season and it took us 3 attempts to get into this restaurant. It's not on the main street, so obviously has a good reputation to be so busy. The service is timely and unhurried with the staff being attentive but not overpowering. The restaurant itself has an open feel to it... More

After wandering around Taormina we spotted this restaurant. The menu looked interesting and prices reasonable, certainly for a big tourist place. It is a quiet restaurant, just near the magnificent gardens. The lunch was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good enough English to help us with our dietry requirements. The gluten free pasta was good.... More

Delicious food and prompt, friendly service meant that we really enjoyed this restaurant. There was a really pleasant atmosphere and it was usually busy, always a good sign. The main courses were so good: grilled swordfish with a side dish of sautéed potatoes! Superb! The ice cream was also to die for! Definitely worth a visit!

My family and I really loved this restaurant with its very authentic and delicious cuisine, very welcoming staff who were so helpful. This is also a very child friendly restaurant - my baby daughter Saskia could also play next to our table when she wanted to get out of her baby chair, without getting in anyone's way and without any... We arrived at about 9 PM, Monday and got a table with no reservation. The staff were very kind and considerate and spoke English very well (and also little Finnish after hearing us converse). For antipasti, we shared a shrimp cocktail which was fresh and delicious. We both decided on Ravioli with gorgonzola and pistachios for the main course. It... More

We have really enjoyed this family run restaurant on previous trips to Taormina. So we looked forward to dining here this time. I would say the place had smartened up and the food was good but not great. Value is suffering - as always when quality might be flagging. They need to up the game and recover their leading position.

A lovely restaurant with friendly staff and a good menu. Food was really good as was the atmosphere. Would definitively recommend to anyone staying in Taormina. We liked it so much here we came back another 3 times during our stay!
