Dinner on the terrace with amazing views of the erupting Mt. Etna!

We almost didn't go here after we found out that it was a 15 euro cab ride each way from the gates of Taormina. But we are certainly glad we did! The route up is twisty and challenging, but the reward is a great view and delicious food. Staff is engaged and helpful; the menu is replete with the usual Sicilian delicious stuff (including of course, swordfish and other seafood, well prepared) and the service is great. The star of the evening for us was the bright orange lava flow coming... More

Just ate lunch there and had to comment. Walked past yesterday on way to town and saw loads of locals. Today there were even more (Sunday family lunch).so we went in. Thank goodness we did. Freshest fish antipasto we ever had, salmon, sardines, octopus and prawns. Each with a different sauce and all delicious. Followed up with a pasta with... More

We ate here last night, and it was a thoroughly delightful experience. The views of Etna, and the lights of Taormina were simply gorgeous as we sat outside on the terrace. We started with Rustic Sicilian hot and cold appetizer plates, with rocotta and two other cheeses, which went well with the Italian bread which accompanied them, a caponata, warm... More

This is our second dinner in this restaurant. We have enjoyed Sicilian food and this place is one of the best. Food is fresh, well presented, light and delicious. Service was friendly, efficient. Not a place to go in a rush, but wonderful to sit on the terrace under the moonlight and have a leisurely meal. Enjoy!

We walked up from Hotel Viila Angela expecting to be able to walk in to this restaurant. We were lucky to get the last table at 7.15pm after some shuffling around but in our 2 hours in there they turned away several tables. The owner was so accommodating & made us feel very welcome & seemed grateful that we had... More

We eat here twice here during our stay in Taormina this April. The food was very good, not overpriced and the hosting was excellent - prompt and friendly - I recommend it.

We stumbled across this lovely restaurant on our honeymoon. We first popped in one lunch time after climbing the mountain that they are on and in need of a drink. The service that we received was next to none. They had only just opened for the summer and we ordered some amazing food. The owner was so friendly we ended... More
