Fantastic view and wonderful couscous

This restaurant has a spectacular view, you see the whole Taormina and Etna. Very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. We came here to taste their speciality: couscous ai frutti di mare and it was fabulous, the portion is so big, it wouldn't leave hungry even 2 people. I took a pannacotta for the... read more

Al Saraceno was a recommended restaurant by Villa Angela. A quick walk up the road and you encounter a restaurant with a beautiful view of Mt. Etna and the surrounding towns. We sat outside for our 6pm reservation and were instantly greeted by bumble bees (a staple in Taormina before the sun sets!). The staff was quick to move us... More

I went with my daughter on my birthday on the recommendation of our hotel (Villa Angela). The meal was outstanding and the staff even sang Happy Birthday to me. The views across the bay are amazing. Special mention to staff who found my expensive sunglasses (left on the table) and returned them to our hotel manager. Outstanding service. Well recommended.... More

Great view, great food, great staff !! What u want more ? Price is not cheap, but it is worth for what u get. I strongly suggest the cuscus with seafood ad the 'special made' cannolo. I'll be back for sure. Suggest to book table in advance. Limited parking place (less then 10 cars)

Worth the 5 minute taxi ride to get here. Views are amazing and food/wine excellent. You can walk up but be warned its a big hill on a hot August night!

This place was recommended by our hotel Villa Angela and we were glad we ate here! We did not make a reservation but was able to get a table as we arrived just as it was opening. The pasta, fish and salad dishes were marvelous. The service was excellent. The only negative was the bees that kept pestering us but... More

We stayed for a week in June at the wonderful Hotel Villa Angela, a five-minute walk from this brilliant restaurant, and ended up eating here on four evenings. We secured a table on the top terrace on the first night and were able to bag the same table thereafter, a great bit of service! The view from our table was... More

A return visit to this restaurant and just a short walk up the hill from our hotel - be sure to book in advance, though, in order to reserve a nice table on the terrace. The food is delicious and fresh - we recommend to try the Sicilian antipasti as a starter and then one of the fish options. And... More

I spent a week with my daughter Rosa in Hotel Villa Angela which is about 150 meters from Al Saraceno. The restaurant became our home kitchen and the owner and the staff were extremely attentive and almost treated us as family. I also saw them take care of an infant so that his mother could have a proper meal :-)... More

This can be a long uphill walk depending where you are coming from, so consider taking a cab. The food is delicious, as is the view. The Sicilia pizza with sausage and cherry tomatoes is quite delicious, as are their canoli
