A friend's birthday!!

I find it surprising that some of the restaurants which trump this here are even in the top 50 to be honest. Alfios pizza is one of the best around and his seafood is a passion which means it never fails to impress. Slightly out of the way but fear not!taxis up to this vista are very cheap and every... We had a wonderful meal at Al Saraceno and would advise you to book a table on the terrace and get there early to visit the church next door and watch the sunset over Taormina. We shared a fried mixed seafood entree which was delicious. My husband had a pork fillet wrapped in bacon with served with french fries which... More

We went to Al Saracen, 8 January 2015 for a birthday dinner and I must say it couldn't have been any better. Even during the winter, the view is still amazing. We sat next to the window overlooking the beautiful city of Taormina. The owner, Alfio and his staff treats you like family. He explained what every dish contained and... More

We had the cenone di capodanno on 31 December 2014 at the Al Saraceno. It was likely the best place in Taormina to celebrate the New Year. The owner is extremely friendly and his staff is very efficient, serving all 7 courses just before mid-night. The restaurant is located above Taormina, in a dead-end street with a gorgeous view on... Just an incredible experience end-to-end. The customer service was excellent and the food was the best that everyone in our party has had so far on our trip. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Place is super easy to find. Pricing is great, my wife and I went on a date here and the view at night is just to die for. The owner of the restaurant is very nice and presented his restaurant very well, gave us excellent customer service. The best times to go to this restaurant is during the summer. The... More

Al Saraceno is at the top of the hill above Taormina Sicily. They staff brings you in and you fell like part of their family. The food is spectacular and reasonably priced. Their pizza is said by many to be the "best in the world". We had lamb and tuna with a fabulous Sicilian red table wine. A definite must... More

Hidden gem of Taormina. Of the beaten track we stumbled on this Restruant by accident Fantastic outlook with amazing views. The food is out of this world and it was freshly cooked. We told the Marcella what we would like to eat and she advised us accordingly and recommended the wine to with our food. Every mouthful was delicious. The... More
