The restaurant was very easy to find, and came highly recommended by the hotel staff at Villa Angela. It was quick 10-minute walk up the hill. The view from the upper terrace is breath taking. I would suggest going about an hour before the sunset, you’ll beat the crowds that show up to eat here, and you get to watch... More

The owner and waitresses were good and very personal with their service. Nearby, someone complained about their food and they were willing to recook the food but the patron refused. They really cared to know what was wrong with the meal and ended up not charging the patron for it. The view was absolutely amazing.

It's a must visit because of the outdoor patio view. Alfio (owner) will make it even more special, and if you want a little more spice, herbs, or garlic he is eager to accommodate. Get the ''mussels'' as a starter....excellent and plentiful! Sea bass excellent, and good desserts. Came back a second night to try the pizza as we knew... More

This welcoming restaurant is very accommodating for non-Italian speakers yet keeps true to local recipes. I had a pasta dish with lobster and grilled prawn and mango entree. Both were fresh and exquisite. Plates were served at a good pace and in typical Sicilian style, were generous and affordable. Well worth the walk up the hill!

Al Saraceno is located almost at the very top of Taormina, giving one of the best views you could imagine. The food was amazing and plentiful, as was the wine. I highly recommend the fried fish appetizer (squid and octopus) and the beef filet entree, which was cooked to perfection. The service was a bit shaky, but it was immediately... More

Went there for my birthday meal while on holiday with family. Sat out on the terrace overlooking the most fabulous view of the coast and Etna. The sunset rolled over and you fall in love with it more. We were then treated by some lightning but no rain so more positives! As night drew in we noticed a faint glow... More

A short walk from my favourite hotel Villa Angela it has the most amazing views overlooking Etna and Taormina, particularly from the terrace. The food is always good with a wide choice on the menu and you are guaranteed to get a warm welcome from Alfio, the owner and his wonderful staff. I have been to Taormina many times and... More

What a great night with the Madona de Rocca festival, the mountain on fire and Prawns with oranges as a starter. Very different. A short walk from our hotel Villa Angela to get away from the maddening crowd in down town Taormina. Very good restaurant, good service and brilliant choice of food, always listen hard to the specials! Well worth... More

Make sure you have reserved terrace table and enjoy dining overlooking Etna in the sunset light. Fish was outstanding!
