It was a saturday night, we have been in syracuse sicily for a few days now, and eating large hotel breakfasts, large lunches and larger dinners was starting to take its toll, it was time to slow it down a bit, maybe not the drinking, but at least the food! We all fancied a pizza and were lucky enough to... More

We were a bit stuck for options on a Monday in March as everywhere seemed dead. A few people were sat outside here so we thought there seemed to be some atmosphere at least! Great view of the church and lovely evening setting. Service was efficient, pizzas large, tasty and well priced. Quite a few veggie options on the menu... More

Situated in a street alongside the Duomo, it is surprisingly peaceful. The pizzas were very good; all served by one very hardworking girl - so sometimes there was a wait; but really no problem. Part of the attraction is the historic buildings around giving that feeling of a different world.

Our first evening in Ortigia after a long day's travel, we only wanted something simple and straightforward. Pizza was the answer, especially since this was only a few yards from our apartment, had outside seating, and the weather was a balmy 25 degrees plus (in the evening). Service is a bit hit and miss, but that's a cultural thing, and... More

Located near the Duomo, it's a great place to enjoy the activities around the square. But most importantly - they serve the worlds best pizzoli, which is a closed pizza, but not a Calzone. Very tasteful, crispy, where it's supposed to be crispy. And soft and cheesy in the exact right places. One pizzoli is enough for two adults. Our... More

Only a few pizza's for vegetarian, we choose two different pizza's, both very low quality. I think that the rate cannot be higher then the quality of the food.

We've lived in Italy for a year now and this was the best sauce I've had. My kids were excited to come here because of the name. We had to eat inside because of the rain but it was still nice. Outside offers a great peoplewatching view. The staff were all very friendly, spoke English and doted on my boys.... More

Average pizza - we went here twice as I felt I picked the wrong pizza the fist time around - nice bases but too much cheese and tended to be quite heavy. Good service though and very busy

This was the best pizza we had in Syracuse. The service was pretty average. It would had been a great atmosphere to eat in, right beside the duomo, but this was ruined by many local children playing and screaming next to the restaurant. We would return for the pizzas.
