This out-of-the-way restaurant lived up to its many good reviews. The menu is quite limited, so be open-minded about what to eat, but it appears they put a lot of effort into making each dish quite good. We had a mix of pasta, fish and meat and each one was quite tasty. The staff was very attentive and open to any... More

Because the dishes they serve are really excellent, the atmosphere is indeed nice and pleasant. We could have stayed for hours, enjoying this relaxing and tasteful experience

We had been in Sicily for a 3 days and had not really had a really good meal – which we thought was unusual as we have visited Italy many times and always have had wonderful food. On Sunday night, we decided to visit Dioniso after reading various Tripadvisor reviews and speaking with our hotel. The restaurant is a small... More

This somewhat hidden restaurant has a limited choice of dishes - on purpose to assure quality. And this is correct! The mushroom (porcini) flan on a pecorino bed as a starter was superb. The rest of the diner had the same high level. But most important of all, this restaurant has an extensive list of mainly Sicilian (very good) wines... More

A decent place to go to for those who are not fussy eaters and who enjoy good food. The menu is however very very restricted.Pleasant and efficient staff.

Of course it isn't the cheapest restaurant in Siracusa, but the food is well worth it. The sardines 'a becco ficco' are the best I have had in Sicily, and the tuna dish I had as a second was superb. The menu is very small but the products are fresh, and that definitely makes a big difference when you are... More

We ended up at Dioniso after our walk through Via Cavour. The host and owner of the restaurant is a very nice, pleasant and friendly man, giving us some good advice on what to eat and what to drink. He advised us the cheapest wine to drink with our dishes, which seemed very honest. He left the place early, and... More

I started with the stuffed fried sardine, which was very good. My main course was the grilled red tuna, which was average. The squid salad and shrimp with garbanzo beans were also very good. The service was great and the ambiance was very nice. I gave it three stars because we had other meals that tasted just as good nearby... More
