Very good food

This restaurant was recommended to us by the B&B where we stayed and it was a very good recomendation. We were there for dinner, but reserved some hours before. It is wise to do so because the place is full very early. Had pesce spada alla palermitana and it was wonderful!!

Typically, in my experience, very busy restaurant, so reservations are frequently required - we were turned away on a Saturday at about 7:45pm with the next available table at 10:30pm. Fairly extensive menu with a good selection of well prepared typical Sicilian dishes - the macaroni pasta dish was particularly good. Perhaps a little expensive for the fayre on offer.

Great seafood pasta in a convenient tourist location so it's easy to find so do not miss! We ordered a mixed shellfish linguine topped with sea urchin. everything is so fresh and the portion is huge. Very tasty

We ate there twice so we must have liked it. It's not fancy dining, the room is small and the service is 'interesting' but the food is great. Over the course of 2 visits we ate the Fritos misto ( super, batter tempura like), smoked tuna, salmon and swordfish , bass fillet with capers and cherry toms, mussels, penne pasta with toms... More

I've never taste a risotto like here, the "pasta con gamberetti y pistachio" was perfect. We had lunch and come back next day to have dinner. 3 dishes, water and 1/2 wine (house) 50 euros.

The food in this little restaurant is fantastic. It was predominately locals eating in the restaurant when we visited, which is a good sign. The sword fish roll or the spaghetti with raisins, sardines and pine nuts are great.

This is a small restaurant located on one of the main streets of the Ortegia. Make reservations or go when they first open as they do a bustling business with locals as well as tourists. The menu is available in languages other than Italian -- a plus. The servings are generous and although I do not believe the kitchen staff... More

Booked a table for dinner at lunchtime and resturant was full with local families enjoying Sunday lunch. Relaxing informal Sicilian resturant with friendly staff. Food very good and other dinners were a mix of holiday makers. Good value and authentic Sicilian menu .

Recommended to us by Sicilia in Tavola as open on Mondays this restaurant served excellent Sicilian food. The ricci di mare whilst not to everyone's taste was delicious as was the carpaccio of sword fish.

We ate at this restaurant for our last night in Sicily - it was recommended by our hotel and was a treat. Thankfully they booked us a table in the afternoon - we went at 7:00 to eat and after arriving numerous parties were turned away or offered a table at 10 pm (or outside, but it was chilly). Great...
