Memorable evening

Visited with family and friends on second evening in Syracuse and it was a great introduction to the cuisine of the area. Food and service were good. We all had the tasting menu and particularly enjoyed the raw prawns and the mussels with tomatoes and mint. We all thought it was food value.

Overrated tourist trap, avoid. forced to have 6 courses, first 3 were amazing let down by the last 3. Service was very rushed despite having to tell staff to slow down. Waste of an evening, sicilia in tavola is far far better.

To start with we were a large group and so this could have been a bit off putting for them, (8 adults and 5 children). However we were accepted graciously and tables were set up. As they had fresh clams on display some of us asked if they could have a plate of pasta with them, but we were told... More

We had read about this place on trip advisor and booked as soon as we arrived. They offer a 6 course fish menu for 35 Euros each, with a bottle of house wine for 5 Euros!!!! The food just kept coming and coming... but with a decent amount of time in between courses. Stunning food and great service. With 2... More

This was a pleasant surprise. Waves of seafood courses, all fresh and well prepared. The value per price was extraordinary. recommended of course.

Recommended to us we decided to book and had a wonderful evening. 35 euros for 6 courses including bread, water, coffee, grappa. Yes the wine is extra but at 5 euros for a good house wine who could complain! All courses were delicious and presented with flair by courteous waiters. A mix of diners - couples, families, groups. Highly recommended.

We returned here after such a good experience last year and found the food as good as ever, the only change being that you now pay for wine but this is very reasonably priced ( we had a nice Grill for about €14). I left booking late (Wednesday before a Saturday evening visit) and managed to get the last table... More

This is a delightful little restaurant serving a set tasting menu only. Everything is fresh and beautifully cooked. There is no choice, you simply get what you are given which at 35 Euros per person is amazing value. Water, dessert and coffee are icluded and for an extra 5 euros you can have house wine too.Be warned though, some of... More
