This place is enormous. Inside the main building and in the outside garden they must be able to accommodate a few hundred customers. By far the biggest pizzeria I've ever been to. The setting is actually quite beautiful but the pizza was only average plus. I won't come back there but go, eat and make your own mind;-)

Every time I'm in Siracusa I have to eat there! Pizza is excellent, the ingredients are tasty and fresh. Is worth trying also the zuppa papale....a fantastic dessert!!!! There is a very beautiful outdoor space with nice atmosphere, but indoor is nice as well.

What can I say.... Great location, the best fries, great pizza and a little playground for the kids. Whatever can you ask on top of this for a nice dinner with the family? Just make sure you get there pretty early, around 8:30p and you'll be served right away. Definitely suggested!

La Frateria is awesome. Almost allways full, but it's worth the wait. i recommend to try everything you can there, from the homemade fried potatoes, to any kind of pizza in the menu(pistacchio powder in some of them!), and finally don't forget the dessert! They don't make the desserts but order them from one of the best pastry shops in... More

Friendly service and the best pizza ever. Exciting menu and it was hard to choose of all the great variations of pizzas. 7,5 euro for a pizza is for me very cheap, specially considering the high quality.

This is among the best restaurants for having dinner outside the city centre in Siracusa. I went there with many people of my family, so I had a wide survey of our pizze, and they were all very good, and with a very original choice of ingredients. I don't give five points because it is unacceptable, nowaday, that such a renewed... More

First - when they say they open at 7:30 p.m. they mean it. We arrived a half an hour early - our mistake. Second they make their pizzas in real brick ovens using wood fires. When I lived in Sicily from 83' to 85' that was the only way it was done and now it is harder to find. The... More

After researching some good pizza places in Syracuse, we came across this – although ranked #21 I would definitely say it is higher than that (especially having eaten at the #1 restaurant the previous night); definitely recommended if you have a car, though it can be quite tricky to find – basically head towards Belvedere, and when you’re about to... Don't usually eat pizza in Italy, because you get far better ones in Sweden - made mostly by Turks! But this place was the exception that proved the rule. A huge selection and a splendid wine list (Cusumano for me). On the advice of the younger generation I went, if I remember rightly, for something with mozzarella. The mini-pizza ordered... More
