Best meal

Visited last night, great meal, the staff offered brilliant suggestions for food & wine. Probably my best meal in ortigia. Don't forget to book by phone!

This is a small very busy restaurant just off the Cathedral Square. Reservations are necessary and well worth the effort. The space is basic but has charm. The service is friendly and as attentive as possible in a busy restaurant. Both seafood dishes I had were delicious. A warm insalata di fruti di mare I had to start consisted of... More

This restaurant has the best Pasta ala Bottarga that I have ever eaten. The antipasti buffet is also amazing. Would recommend Sicília in Tavola to everyone who is looking for great food. Expect a waiting time if you arrive late, however, waiting is definitely compensated by the quality of the food. Very friendly service.

The place is well located in the old origia. The local is reported in the tourist guides so is not surprising to find lots of foreigners there! We had a gnocchi with seafood and panzerotti ricotta with pistachios' pesto. Everything was good, but in Sicily the expectations are somehow higher... The coffee finally was not so good... Just ok... If your looking for fresh seafood with pasta then this is the place. Wow. We had the Scampi Ravioli and Mixed Seafood Fettuccine and a bottle of Judeka Red. Great service in a nice location. Loved it.

Restaurant is always full, both with tourists and locals, which is usually a good sign. I took "Spaghetti al pistacchi" and it was one of the best meals I had in Sicily during my stay. Staff is very polite, nice and helpful.

It is not a bad restaurant. During the dinner, I haven't noticed any italian (or sicilian) guests, mostly tourists. The food was nice though, as well as the atmosphere. I think that the whole charm of this restaurant comes from its size - small (only around 7-8 tables) and friendly (staff, of course).

The restaurant is tiny so you need a reservation or snag a table outside first come first serve. The pasta is the best in Ortygia! And there is an awesome little wine shop across the street where you can buy some great Sicilian wines and food too while you wait for a table to open up

The food was amazing from the burrata appetiser to the pistachio tiramisu. We went as a group and all four dishes that we had were amazing and well worth the wait. The pistachio tiramisu is the best tiramisu i've ever had. Definitely recommend a visit.
