Unfortunately we came here on our last night - so we had no chance to come back! We had 2 families with 5 hungry teenagers. The food was as good as anything we have eaten in Italy (which has nearly all been good!) and every one of the nine raved about their meal. However it was also really reasonable prices... More

Small, quaint, the image of a Sicilian trattoria. Warm, friednly, authentic service. Amazing antipasto buffet as an option. Delicious pasta, fish and seafood dishes. Great desserts (chocolate, lemon and ricotta cakes). Hard to get a table, so be warned.

One of the best 'Trattoria' style restaurants, right in the heart of Ortigia. Don't be put off by it's 'cheap' look, the food is amazing and fantastic value. The pasta is freshly made by them and the menu is quite extensive: For example Spaghetti tutto mare (a mix of different shellfish..huge plate!) .Pasta a la sarde (thick spaghetti with sardine,... Honestly, my expectations were much higher after seeing so many good reviews. For me it was not amazing but simply good. Staff was very friendly and kind.

Just returned from this restaurant! we had made a reservation 6 weeks in advance. we had to wait 15 minutes outside until our table was ready, in the mean time a group of 5 was seated! When we we had our table it was right by the toilet! The two female staff were lovely the male waiter was not interested... More

This was the only restaurant in Ortygia we ate at twice. If we'd found it earlier in the week, we would have come back a few more times. Wonderful fish with pumpkin sauce, pasta with pistachio sauce, and desserts to die for. I have to say my favorite dish, which I had both nights, was the zuppa di cozze. The... More

This was my favorite lunch in Sicily. I was there with friends and we all had excellent pasta. We came a bit late, but they were very gracious, great service. Lots of choice on the menu. This is a perfect, comfortable place for a good simple meal.

We wanted to have traditional Sicilian cuisine and this place was recommended by the owner of our apartment. A small restaurant so booking is normally essential. We ate here twice in a week and had delicious pasta and seafood. Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to selecting a wine from 100+ available. I had the home... More

As this place is always very busy, we had to make booking 3 days in advance. The restaurant is small and cozy , very friendly staff. Our dinner was fantastic! Absolutely fantastic seafood and homemade pasta, all 6 of our company were very happy.I could say , it was the best dinner of 2 weeks holiday in Sicilia. I look forward... More

I'm still dreaming about the burrata. The fish as the second was as well very good and the dessert are prepared for you fresh in the restaurant. Best dinner of the holiday
