The seafood salad was a load of boiled seafood dumped on a plate with a bit of parsley. If you like tough, chewy calamari and octopus tentacles, this will be the dish for you. The ravioli was coarse, tough, thick and indigestible and the real kicker were the fish bones inside. No, this is not charming or rustic, it is... More

Located right in the center of ortigia, visited on a Saturday night (after trying to go on a Wednesday, the place gets really busy and 100% need to book a table!) we asked the waitress to reccomend a dish and I actualy chose two which she split on to the one plate for me. They specialise in homemade pasta and... More

This place is amazing. Great, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, and superb local food. The food is reasonably priced, and delicious. Without a reservation, we were unable to get a table here for dinner, so we made sure we stopped in for lunch the following day. We were so pleased we did. If you only have one meal in Syracusa, I... Definitely make a reservation. The place is small - only about 10 tables - and books up fast. Our table wasn't quite ready when we checked in with the friendly hostess, but we waited just a couple of minutes outside and then they came to get us. They have menus in English, Spanish, and French as well as Italian, of... More

Of all the places we ate during our stay in Ortegia, this had the best of all worlds. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and were genuinely interested in ensuring we had a great evening. Tables not too close together, service very efficient, yet unhurried, prices very reasonable. We had to book a couple of days in advance even... More

If you're visiting Siracusa, make sure you have a meal at this fantastic restaurant. The menu is really special- fresh, imaginative seafood dishes served by friendly staff. The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxed (we sat outside, on the street, and loved it) and the prices are very reasonable.

This little restaurant is the perfect pit stop for lunch while enjoying the sights. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed - it has the feeling of a family run restaurant. The food was excellent - my fettuccine with shrimps, tomatoes, parsley and mint was so fresh and tasty. My mum's sea bass with... More

Get a reservation. Very much in demand as it is reasonably priced. I've had more attentive service, but they dont rush you and the food is very good and authentic. Popular for a reason.

Great little restaurant on the isle of Ortigia serving excellent Sicilian seafood specialties . It is indeed one of the top restaurants in Siracusa. Personable, friendly and informative service. Make sure to make a reservation.

Was there last night and was fully expecting it to be over rated but was wrong. The staff were very friendly and recommended some great dishes. I'm not a massive seafood fan but loved it all. Would highly recommend but be sure to reserve a table a few days beforehand.
