The name of the place drew us in, but the food was exceptional. It was an interesting mix of French and Sicilian. Anything would be good there - but most memorable for me were the spring roll appetizer and the cannoli desert.

This one's a bit further from the big tourist sites but easy to find. The profiteroles were great as were the mussels. The restaurant isn't as busy at 8 pm but really fills up about 10 pm.

This was a great place with wonderful atmosphere and unique menu items. We ordered appetizers and the waiter pointed us to a particular one that was fantastic. Then I had a hamburger! That was the first hamburger I'd seen on the menu winced I'd arrived in Sicily nearly a week before. It was great - needed to eat it with... More

After eating here one night, we made reservations to return the next. Sitting outside on a charming street enjoying the restaurant's delicious food was a delight. The owners are very friendly. Reservations are most likely a must these days.

One of my favourite restaurant in Siracusa. Located in the Island of Ortgia, in a very traditional building. The staff is very friendly, there is the possibility to seat outside. The food is really tasty and the dessert are Amazing. We had a lovely time there.

We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we ate here twice in 4 days in Syracuse. More French in style than Sicilian, but a varied menu with friendly service.

We ate at the Le Vin de L'assassin twice during our visit to Ortigia. Good menu choices for meat and seafood. Less for vegetarians. Food is very fresh and well prepared. Salad was memorable. Desserts good, but not better than any other restaurant on the island. This is a very popular, A-list eatery at the moment, so reservations, especially on... More

We enjoyed the dinner there. The owner was very friendly and helped us in choosing what we like and may enjoy. The menu change from day to day according to what they have.
