The menu at Oinos is very interesting - Italian but with a twist. It was cooked to perfection and the service was immaculate. Worth every penny.
Staff were overly helpful at the start, but once the locals start arriving and we've been served our main course then we were pretty much forgotten. The menu translations aren't always that accurate - I ended up with Eel instead of Mahi-Mahi............so maybe they should give you the menu in both languages with the translation underneath! Courtyard outside is pretty... More
I recently vacationed in Catania with my sister and a good friend took us on a delightful tour of provinces surrounding the area, including Siracusa. As we walked through the bustling streets we ended up in what looked to be an alley way full of shops, one of which was Oinos Restaurant. My first impression of the restaurant was the... More

When arriving in Siracusa late in the evening, we went directly from our hotel (Hotel Roma) to Ristorante Oinos, which was quite close to the hotel. It was a warm and nice October evening and we dined outside. The first detail we became aware of were the small ottomans where the ladies could place their bags! The service was very... More
We can talk about under staff and wait, but real issue for all of us in restaraunt was sub-par non-tasting food.
I wish we had gone sooner. After 2 weeks in Syracuse, eating in amazing restaurants (including all the top 5 on tripadvisor), this was by far the best meal I've had, not just in Syracuse, but in all of Italy - and I've been all over. My partner had the cheese pie starter, and swears it is the best starter... More
