This restaurant was great. You need a reservation. Wonderful well priced meal and wine list. Good location. Easy to find.

This place is simply horrible. Got the gut feeling to walk out after sitting down - should have listened to my instinct. Sloppy staff playing on the computer. Disinterested. The pizza was OK but it all went downhill fast from there. The Filetto (Fillet Steak) was a peice of gristly stewing steak which had clearly been softened in Bi Carb... More

Rushed service despite having said we wanted a a little more time .Despite being popular with the Italian community the tv seems to be of greater importance than the customer. The Prawn cocktail was positively underwhelming and the Bresaola and cheese was something a first term student at a catering college could produce .The swordfish was only average but the veal... This is a favourite with the young locals who gather in the street of a weekend evening waiting for a table. The pizzas are said to be the best in Ortigia and are very good, but lacals seem to be given preference for tables, and some have reported the service is disappointingly slow. Great if you are in a young... More

What a shame. Food good, wine good, nice atmosphere. Well priced. All good until you get the bill which, as others have noted, includes both a cover charge per person (fine - that's the tip in my book) AND an outrageous 20% cover charge!!! We left less than this and the waitress didn't even question it which in a way... More

We were looking for a cheap and good pizzeria for dinner one night and was recommended this place. We put our names down on the waiting list and were told to wait 45 mins. We came back and had to wait another 20 mins before our table was ready. Granted it was a Sat night and they did give us... More

We had lunch here in December in an almost empty restaurant: the town was very quiet. We ordered a selection of prima, secondi and vegetables. The pasta and especially the pizza were excellent with a soft delicate dough. The fish was ok; simple selection of swordfish, prawn and octopus all grilled though given the fish market next door we hoped... More

Our first night in Syracuse we ate here because of TA recommendations. We shared a pizza and a pasta dish. We found the service excellent as well as the food. We would have returned but wished to try other places. Would definitely put this on our list when we return.

Wonderful place to find, lots of locals eating there, coming and going. Pizzas were best we have had for years! Very Italian service, very friendly, some English spoken by the waiters. Lovely to see two young local boys coming in, and being given a small free granita! Busy all evening, watch out for 20percent service charge though. Otherwise the menu... More

My entire family ordered only pizzas, so I cannot speak about the rest of the menu, but our experience here was very positive. It is a very popular place with the locals, and the people watching was fun, as a lot of Italian families with small children come here, and the waiters were very affectionate with the little tykes. Our... More
