A small, intimate, cellar setting. Fresh ingredients. The proprietor is the chef and he waits on your table himself! This was the first restaurant we tried in Sicily and it set the stage for all the rest of our food experiences there after. Here we learned about the various Sicilian wines that would be available to us during our trip;... More

Our first dinner in Palermo, taken there by our tour guide. There were several courses and everyone really liked their food. The house wine was quite adequate and the service and setting was excellent. Highly recommended.

What an experience this was! We made a reservation, though didnt need one as its really the off season in Sicily and most restaurants had plenty of tables. We were greeted by Vincenzo Clemente - a Sicilian through and through, though raised in Baton Rogue LA (Sicilians and southerns have a LOT of similarities!) He made us feel welcomed right... More

Just returned from a 10 day trip to Sicily and the the absolute highlight was going to Cin Cin and attending Vincenzo's cooking class. My wife & 2 ladies from England met Vincenzo and then went to the market to select the food we would be cooking for lunch. While doing the buying we stopped and sampled not only vendor offerings... More

After reading the reviews we ventured out to find this place and were so glad we did. Everything we had was delicious with layers of flavor we didn't find anywhere else on our 14 day vacation in Italy and Sicily. We really enjoyed each item we tried (gnocchi, risotto, fish and a steak) and had a very nice conversation with... More

We tried this restaurant as we had 20% off voucher. I must say restaurants like this are not where we usually eat as we find them to pretentious for us. The food was edible but not very interesting and there was no atmosphere in the restaurant at all. We didn't feel we were made to feel very welcome and I... More

When you have the owner/chef taking care of business, the experience is really different. The opportunity to be attended by Vicenzo Clemente is kind of Sicilian immersion culture. He gave us excellent suggestions, including the wine. Everything was perfect, but you can not miss the deserts made by "mama"!

Excellent food from limited, creative menu. Very good service. Dishes one does not find everywhere. Would certainly return if we had more time in Palermo.

If you are looking for a fine meal in the Via Liberta section of Palermo, Cin Cin should be high on your list. We were touring Sicily with friends in late March/early April, still the off season, and by the time we got to Palermo we were pretty familiar with the repertoire of Sicilian cooking -- fresh seafood, vegetables, Arab... Visited after reading the reviews. There were 2 set price menus available both priced at 30euros, one of fish and one of meat. We both chose the meat menus and were absolutely delighted with all 3 courses. The owner explained that he only serves organic products and our excellent wine was also from an organic producer. A delicious dessert was... More
