As noted by others, and in my earlier review, this place take traditional ingredients and dishes and turns them into something completely new and delicious. We did the tasting menu and loved every bite.

if you are tired of the same classic Sicilian dishes (sarde a beccaficco, pasta alla norma, etc...) this is your place. Very sophisticated ambiance. We had the tasting menu and we were delighted. A bit expensive but it is money well spent.

We just finished an eight course tasting menu at A'Cuncuma. It was an amazing meal. While the dishes each used the traditional local ingredients, the preparation of the dishes were creative and brought these ingredients to a new level of sublime sophistication. This small unpretentious restaurant had a wonderful and helpful staff that complimented the incredible food. If you have... More

Very small cosy restaurant near the Cathedral in Palermo. The menu is small, but every dish is very good. The menu is full of local specialities and the staff is helpful and knows everything about. If you care about what is on your plate highly recommended.

Had the tasting menu which was wonderful, then I asked the Chef if I could come back the next night and get a totally different tasting menu. He agreed and indeed the menu was different and equally thrilling. Do yourself a favor and go. Unfortunately the place does not seem crowded as it should be

A'Cuncuma did not disappoint. Every dish of the tasting menu was excellent -- I was humming with pleasure the entire meal. Can hold it's own with any Michelin rated restaurant, only a matter of time before it has it's own stars. Definitely the best meal enjoyed while in Sicily and Tuscany. If you're visiting Palermo make sure you visit A'Cuncuma.

This is an excellent restaurant for the finer sort of dining experience, especially if you want to try dishes that are prepared solely with locally sourced ingredients. My wife and I had the tasting menu and we both agree with earlier reviewers that the food is of Michelin-star level. I would very much like to hear from a few of... More

Best meal this year. Food and service michelin star level and not expensive. A little hard to find but well worth it. Chef came out from kitchen after every course to make sure all was well. Wonderful place!!

Our waiter was very attentive explaining each dish with the different ingredients and method of cooking. Very Michelin star-esque. The olive oil came in a bottle which looked like an expensive dolce & gabbana perfume!! Please go you won't be disappointed.
