This little restaurant, run by brothers (chef and sommelier), is a gem! This proved to be one of our favorites in an almost 3 week trip including Rome and Sicily. The flavors were delicate and complex. Everything was lovingly prepared and the ingredients were of the highest quality. In speaking with the chef we learned there is a "slow food"... More

Restaurant was recommended by the owner of the Palco B&B, who told us the Chef was a ex michelin star restaurant Chef. Indeed, What an experience !! We both tried the 'discover' menu which is a 5 course menu based on typically Sicilian cuisine: merluzzo, melanzane, arancine, slow-cooked pork, and cannelloni for desert. All were prepared with excellent ingredients (the... More

This restaurant was close to our hotel, and although the menu looked expensive, we asked for a table because it was early and the place was only one-quarter full. We learned we'd made a mistake. The staff seemed bored but unwelcoming, the service was slow, the waiter(s) inattentive, unresponsive or irritated, and the food average but way overpriced. Having dined... More

It was a busy Saturday night and we had no reservation. Luckily, we got the last table in a fairly understated dining room. But what a find, The cooking was super-refined and delicious. Every dish was artfully and precisely presented, but more importantly, very tasty. Our dishes were complex in their design, without being fussy, and revealed one flavour sensation... More

What a great recommendation Trip Advisory. We had the tasting menu, as did most guests that night and loved every mouthful. Something quite different from the tradition Sicilian fare we had enjoyed so far on our 3 week stay in Sicily. The suggested wine was also remarkable good and complemented the food beautifully. A fine dining experience.

The dishes here that were amazing, blew our minds! There were some odd dishes that didn't hit the mark, but that's to be expected. I came here because it said online they had a decent meat menu, but it was mostly fish. Service was okay, if a little Sicilian. Which would be okay if the meal didn't set you back... More

We went based upon previous trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. When we arrived we were not sure whether the restaurant was open but upon checking to see if the door was locked we were welcomed in by the maître d'. We were quite early in the evening during their down season but the restaurant filled up during the... More

After reading the reviews on here we couldn't leave Palermo without stopping by. Very glad we did - one of the best meals we have had in a long time. The fish taster menu was more than enough to fill us both - four dishes plus deserts - each packed with flavour and a pleasure to devour. Service was excellent... More

We're a couple of San Francisco-based foodies, and came across this place thanks to the TripAdvisor reviews. They are spot on: one of the best meals we've had in Italy (and that's saying a lot.) We went by on a Tuesday evening, and the place was empty - what a shame! (This was early April, so probably a widespread phenomenon.)... More

We happened upon this gem of a restaurant because it was near our hotel in Palermo and came highly reviewed on this website, and we were entirely pleased with our dinner experience there. We arrived early and hungry and they accommodated us immediately. We decided to try the tasting menu for two and it was magnificent. There were numerous small... More
