Beautiful balance

There is incredible food here at very reasonable prices; my family of four ate well with a bottle of wine for just 95 euros. I suggest sharing as there is no need for each person to order their own dishes. We ate two antipasti, two pasti and two secondi plus dessert. Expect elegant versions of... read more

Authentic and trendy - a rare combination! This place is definitely worth the effort of searching out. You won't stumble across it by accident! The welcome is warm and friendly and the team here really want you to appreciate and savour their genuine passion for Sicilian food. Cauliflower mousse to start with ricotta and chick pea pancakes. Then the powerful... More

This place if not the easiest to locate as one must navigate through several dimly out alleyways with many dubious looking people loitering around. My partner and I decided to hunt down this place as many restaurants were closed on Sunday for dinner. The staff was friendly and the service was good but not flamboyant. We had mussels and the... You have to really want to find this gem of a restaurant. the streets leading to it are rather suspect, but once there, you know you have found a gem. the food, atmosphere (not too loud) and friendly service is just outstanding. probably our best all round food experience in 2 weeks in Sicily. Guilia served us and was charming.... More

Enjoyed a fabulous meal at Al Fondaco which had been recommended by the owner of our B&B Le Terrazze. A little difficult to find but that just added to the intrigue and the delicious food and very friendly service made it worth the effort. Family run and that showed in the attention to detail. The atmosphere was especially elegant in... More

Food was pretty good, along with good service. Recommended by other TripAdvisor travellers, and agree in general that this restaurant is fairly good. The only concern is that it is a little hard to find, but plenty of signs.

Super friendly, well judged Sicilian cuisine with a modern slant- fab starters & pasta dishes but average mains. Worth the detour to eat here.

The food itself was truly delicious, from first courses to main courses and deserts. I particularly enjoyed the Ravioli di Cernia which were just sublime! I also really appreciated the cook Diego who cares about the diners and comes out of the kitchen to present the dishes and to explain their origin to the guests.

The owner of our B&B recommended us this place. Is was one of the best dining experience in Sicily. Most of the food we tried in Sicily was really good, but in this restaurant we had something amazing. From the starters to the dessert, everythig was delicius, finely made and abundant. Service was great, the chef is really friendly and... More
