We had dinner at this restaurant, which according to the Tripadvisor reviews is number 9 among 1100 restaurants in Palermo. The environment is pleasant, and the staff is nice and friendly (we had long explanations from the chef regarding Sicilian specialities), but the food is only average: After an offered amuse-bouche (small gaspacho soup), we had Pecorino cheese with figs... to read the English review have a look after the Italian one. More

This restaurant is in a strange location hidden down a side street. When you find it then you are in for a treat. The food is delicious and we had one of the best meals we've eaten for a long time. The chef comes to your table to explain each dish. The waiters are also very friendly and helpful, some... More

Typical tourist trap, ok if you have no idea of what good Italian cousine could taste, either authentic and traditional or re-interpreted with originality, as this restaurant pretends, rather unsuccesfully, to do. We invited on the 13th September a Sicilian friend visiting from another city to dinner in this restaurant. Shambolic experience ! Decor was sad, with cheap faux stone... More

Friendly service. Funny chef. Excellent mixed fish antipasta. Simply stunning seabass and a bottle of great etna rosso for about 35euro per person. Food as should be.

We arrived at the restaurant and were some what surprised by the location (it is hidden away in a residential section of the old town) and the setting (it was smart but very light, quiet and with TV showing a film in the background), it is fair to say that we were not sure that we were in the right... just behind the corner of our b&b, this cosy restaurant is well worth a visit. The chef comes at the table to explain about his philosophy and the local ballaro market. You can hear his passion about food and taste it as well. Don't miss this experience.

It was a surprise to find this restaurant while getting lost in the alleys of Palermo. The chef was so friendly and explaining us the history of the city and market and how the meals got inspired by these traditions. We were only two guests in that restaurant and definitely we really got a VIP treatment. The photos hang on... More
