On our romantic trip to Sicily we were looking for a small private restaurant with local food. We were recommended this place by our host and we loved our dinner here. The food was fresh and really tasty, and the staff was even better. Really friendly and a very intimate place. We would really recommend it!

My husband and I were in the mood for a good seafood dinner in Palermo and Al Fondaco del Conte made us and our tummies very happy. The place is clean and airy and the staff is extremely welcoming. We shared a fish antipasti with three different kinds of seafood salads, sardine fish cakes to die for, home cured anchovies... More

Persevere in finding this place as the food is high quality and innovative. Nice friendly welcome and comfortable atmosphere. I had well-grilled mixed fish dish and wife had fish ravioli. Friends both had gnocchi. Dessert was even better - cassata and tiramisu. Nice local red wine Martinianum. Surprised by bill only being €85.

A lovely little restaurant which as others have said is a bit tough to find. But the journey is WORTH IT! We were greeted warmly. The chef came out to chat to us and offered us complimentary unique starters with delicious dips, we also got a delicious aperitif - it's special to the restaurant and not available elsewhere as we... We stayed in Palermo for 3 nights and our dinner at this place was probably the best we had in Palermo. We really enjoyed the seafood they served. Mussels, sea bass and swordfish were rightly cooked and very tasty. The drawback was that the wine list is limited.

We had dinner here our first night in Palermo at the recommendation of our host Nicola at the Palazzo Conte Federico and I am so glad we listened to his suggestion. He phoned ahead for us and we were treated like old friends when we arrived. The waiter explained the choices to us and brought us out two complimentary dips... More

This was right behind where we stayed, so was easy for us to find, but it is out of the way. However, it's worth looking for. The food is fresh, plentiful and reasonably priced. The chef is engaging and the staff friendly. The risotto cozze was delicious and my son said the roast pork was the best he'd ever had.

We had an interesting walk trying to find this tiny restaurant but it was so worth it once we got there; our walking adventure became the side story while the excellent food and service took the lead. The food was creative, tasted wonderful and was beautifully presented without becoming pretentious. The chef came to visit our table twice during our... More
