Loved this family restaurant. Both wife (cooking) and husband (front office) seem to be very active. Hotel recommended this as we wanted something "not too fancy". Started with Antipasti...which is basically a buffet of 30 different appetizers that you get to choose from. You can go any number of times. Cost $7.50 I then had the Carbonara which was ok.... I was with a tour group of about 30 folks; this was our first night in Sicily. The food covered lots of selections (we didn't order; they brought a pre-arranged menu of antipasta, pasta, meat (veal) & veg, and dessert--with wine and water available). The food was very good. The service was fast and efficient and friendly. It was a... More

We came at lunch and went straight to the antipasto selection. You can take all you want, and every single item was delicious. We made that our lunch although there were main course selections available. The waiter suggested trying the semifreddo, which is a type of almond ice cream with a chocolate sauce. It was out-of-this-world delicious. Our taste buds... More

The cheff Paolo definitely makes the best pickled sardines in the town! The prices are moderate, service is extremely friendly and the place is just downtown, walking distance from Qutro conti, about 20 meters of Via Maqueda.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and it turned out to be the worst Italian meal we had in Palermo and perhaps Italy. The owner "made a mistake" overcharging us too! The only nice thing about this place is the lone waiter who really doesn't look very happy working there.

Nice small place where all the family is involved. Great antipasti buffet, and very fresh fish. Swordfish was done perfectly. Reasonable and very good value.

We were recommended this restaurant from our hotel. As we arrived they were putting out all the antipasti for lunch. It was so enticing two of the four of us had that for lunch. They were not disappointed. My husband who is a foodie....felt it was the best he had on our entire trip. The pasta dishes were also delicious.... More

There is a friendly reception at this family restaurant and English speaking staff are available to assist. The antipasti were the best aspect of its menu with a choice of 18 self-service dishes for 8 Euro. This comprised a few fish dishes – sardines and anchovies – with the rest made from a variety of vegetables. Main course prawn and... More

Lots of antipasti to choose from. Pasta is so-so. Dessert is very good, especially the ice cream with chocolae. Service is good. Location is good near the quatro canti.
