Ferro Ristorante is located a few steps from the Teatro Massimo in Palermo's historic center. The atmosphere is refined and elegant, and offers its clientele a modern kitchen with references to traditional Sicilian cuisine with a great number of dishes but not all special and delicious prepared with seasonal raw materials and high-quality In summer there is the opportunity to dine outside in space in front of the enclosure, in the charm of the square which, little by little, is recovering the ancient buildings.

Beautiful space

Beautiful little restaurant with a calm atmosphere in Palermo. Our meals came out slightly wrong but I presume it was a language issue... They were delicious regardless. Beautiful minimal interior

Came here on the last day of my holiday and was so pleased I did. Best food of my holiday. As some others mentioned, turning up at 9pm there was no issue getting a table as there was only 2/3 other parties there. Not as busy as pizzeria Frida next door which has people queuing every night for a table,... More

Everything we ate here was great. The antipasti with cream cheese and potato balls (polpette di patate) was great. And especially for the dessert, the cherry soup was delicious. Definitely recommended.

Living in Palermo for two months we saved this restaurant for a special occasion based on its reviews. I can,t even begin to say how disappointed we were three guests each of us felt the same. It almost needed a Gordon Ramsay character to go in and shake them up, we could see their failings quite plainly. Everything they did... More

If you are looking for something different than your normal menu of pasta, pizza, fish and meat - go here. A surprising menu with great tastes. Also the aperitif offered to us at arrival and the well recommended local wine completed a night out dining. A nice square where you can sense the local atmosphere and above all very friendly... April is clearly not the time to fight for reservations - we walked in at 9pm, and were met with an almost empty restaurant, tastefully decorated in minimalist white tablecloths. The food was fantastic: several specials were described in a mix of our halting Italian and the owners halting English, but the outcome was superb, and the interactions were more... More

We visited this restaurant after a whole day's work, because led here by an insider, a Palermo born colleague. In the four days of my business in Palermo, with experiences of restaurants all of a good standard, this was at the top. The restaurant is renowned for its fish dishes, but also those who prefer meat here will be satisfacted.... More

Lovely food with a really unusual menu. We had squid meatballs, which were delicious. Service was great too.

It is not easy to find all the good restaurants in Palermo because there does not seem to be a real city center but the central area is scattered - Ferro on Piazza Sant'Onofrio is however worth the search and walk! The appeanrance of the restaurant is modern and it has a fairly nice outdoor seating area on the piazza.... More
