If you are in Palermo for a few days you have to eat here. Me and my girlfriend booked a table over the phone and they prepared us a nice table outside in the street which had a great atmosphere and we enjoyed great service and great food. We had bruscetta which was one of the best we've ever had,... More

Try to take a place outside during summer, inside restaurant is very hot for people from the north of Europe ;) Nice staff, very good pizza (maybe the best pizza restaurant in Palermo and provably also in the South of Italy). Pizza vulcano is amazing!

Few interesting notes to add to my rating : 1/ Don't make the same "mistake" I did with the mozza buffala tomatoe salad before the pizza, the salad is huuuuge and delicious : you won't finish your pizza therefor :) 2/ Pizzas are generously served 3/ dont get there if you dont like the typical noisy italian pizzeria, but why... Wood fired oven and excellent ingredient make for great pizzas and antipasti. Service is very good in an attractive atmosphere. Very affordable considering the quality and quantity of food. Best pizza I've eaten in a long time.

Different types of pizza (Napoli, thin crust) all in wood fired oven. You may want to start with the Antipasti. On top of the quality, very affordable: For two, including wine/beer, pzzas, dessert, less than 40€

Palermo was our last stop of a 3+ week trip and we wanted to end it with spectacular pizza. As such, we turned to TripAdvisor and found the highly lauded Frida Pizzeria. As suggested, we arrived just as they opened so we could get a table. We sat outside and waited. And waited. And waited. Let's just say the service,... More

You have not had a pizza UNLESS you have been to FRIDA. The couple who own the place are two truly talented, great people. Make sure to find time to pay them a visit.

Superb value, great pizzas, anti pasta is huge - be warned we shared anti pasta to make sure we had room for pizza. Gets busy from 7.30 so if you want an outside tabe and do not want to queue go early.

Recommended by our host Luigi this gem of a restaurant did not disappoint. So good we went two out of the three nights we spent in Palermo.
