Excellent service and food

This is deservedly a popular restaurant. We were welcomed with a glass of bubbly wine and given time and advice. As we wanted to share a starter ( vg ) they served it in two dishes. My wife had bream and vegetables which she said was her beast meal in Syria. So was my Angus steak with lovely sauce... read more

Tasteful decor with a jazz theme, we ordered a fish and a steak mains. We were treated to an appetiser and prosecco while waiting. Both mains were well presented, beautifully prepared and generous. I had the Black Angus, delicious with a good sauce and lightly cooked veg. Desserts were decorative and appetising. Overall a great find and good value.

As usual when a place has such good reviews on TA our expectations were high, but not fulfilled in this case unfortunately. Service and ambience is ok, but food is average at best. We had most of the specials of the day, only good thing was octopus caponata, the pasta with fish and 3 tomatoes we had was so so,... More

We really liked the fresh food this restaurant is serving. The dishes are quite big but so tasteful. Typical Sicilian recipes are served. The staff is very friendly.

Although in town for just 3 days, it was great to escape the basic touristic meals for a change. We felt like locals having dinner at one of the best restaurants in town. Everything was excellent, particularly the dessert, Cassata.

Whenever we are abroad Rick and I will always try and find the restaurant that's stuffed with locals and few tourists - its a sure sign of a winner! Sesto Canto was only filled with local business people having a quick one course lunch and we were lucky enough to dine with them. Great tasting pasta and then very authentic... More

Not your usual trattoria. High-tech atmosphere, greeted with prosecco. Excellent food all round, several different type of dishes (e.g., smoked salmon; cod, potato and chickpea fritters), but good pastas as well.

The restaurant had only predefined menu for Launch. We spent around 55 euros for 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 glasses of wine and espresso. Food was good, but nothing special.

Only had two courses as they were huge, but both were really nice, particularly the tuna with nuts for the main, thick tuna steak seared on the outside but pink in the centre. No problems for me with the service, both of the staff were very attentive. Really nice, and not too expensive, particularly given the size of the meal!

We waited 75 minutes for our first course to arrive...did not put us in a good mood. The food is fresh and simply prepared with excellent fish courses. Restaurant should stagger its reservations. Come early or late, not at 8:30.
