We tried to have dinner at this restaurant after recommendation of the hotel receptionist. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen the Tripadvisor reviews before... We had only antipasti (tasty), but had to leave when the main course arrived 1:15 hours after the antipasti and after repeated reclamations with the meat being cooked rare instead of well done as ordered. The owner proposed... More

We got caught in the rain this evening and ended up jumping into this restaurant. It wasn't planned but it ended up being pretty good. We had the carbonara and white pesto dishes. They were both quite delicious and the portions are big. The wine was also very tasty. Overall a pretty good meal with a nice, relaxing and elegant... More

Located close to Quatro Canti on a typical Palermo plaza had a great dinner that turned into a party with other patrons stumbled home close to 3 in the morning feeling very satisfied! The staff was friendly and facilities very clean. You will sit down as a client and leave a Paisano.

We came to Sicily in Aug 2014 and stumbled accross this American Bar in a beautiful Piazza, located just 100 yards from Palermo cathedral. The food is very cheap (approx. 7 Euros for a large, delicious pasta dish) and we never paid more than 50 Euros for a generous dinner (sometimes including pudding!) and a couple drinks each for the... We just came home from a visit at Carlo V. This is the worst service at a restaurant i have ever experienced. When we first decided to eat at Carlo V we had to wait 15 minutes to get a table. The funny thing was that at all that time 2 table were empty. When we after that got a... More

This is a themed restaurant that operates at a pace equivalent to assisted mobility devices. Don't bother wasting your time. Forever to sit. Forever to get a menu. 3 couples left while we were waiting. We followed suit.

Unless you want to wait hours for your food. Waited about an hour for our mains to come. Asked twice about our food near the 45 min mark and only got a reply of 'yes'. Touristy place, doesn't seem authentic. Small portions when it came. No apology either for the long wait. The people who ordered after us had already... More

We were staying across the road at the Centrale Palace hotel so this was very convenient. We went there 3 or 4 times in 2 days for coffee lunch and dinner so I suppose we must have been satisfied. But that is as much about Palermo which, as exciting as it is , is not that inviting. So--if you find... More

This is in a little piazza, just near the Quatro Canti, and provided us with a good pasta lunch. Well cooked, portions not too large and lively service.
