Ordered risotto and grilled fish, it was one of the best dishes of the kind we ate. Great place, but we came during a quiet time so had no issues like some other reviewers here

We ate outside one evening in April. When the main course eventually arrived it was cold and missing the side orders. When challenged the waitress asserted the vegetables had finished - it was only 8.30pm and other customers were arriving. Avoid.

Went there for lunch twice during our short visit. We ate outside once (a bit too cold, to be honest) and inside on our second visit. Both meals were good and the service was decent. The waiters were cheerful and the bill was very reasonable.

We sat inside (it's November!). The decor is a combo of the old stone work and clean white plaster (lighting a little on the low side). They brought us glasses of Proseco (sp?) before we even ordered. The food was really good; they don't rush you--you need to ask for the bill. They brought us digestif shots after dinner too.... We had lunch here on our second day in Palermo. The food (Risotto) was very good, the prices very reasonable and the staff were quite friendly, if a little stressed (it was full). This was just what we were looking for between the sight seeing. A good experience. The next day we were not very hungry at lunch time so... More

Dropped in just after noon on a Saturday. They open at 11 but we were the first ones there. Placed our orders. Waitress came back and said they didn't have my wife's choice. Okay, she chose something else. A few minutes later, I'm told that they can't do penne al Sicilia (with nuts and cheese - how can you not... More

Which is a shame because the food was well cooked and good value and the restaurant is in a nice square. The problem was that we had to ask for every bit of service that we needed (get a menu, place an order, ask 3 times for a glass of wine, the bill etc.). I could see that it was... More

We went there to have a good coffee, but boths the macchiato and the cappuccino were disappointing. No glass of water served with drinks

Right up the street from our hotel, The Centrale Palace, it was a nice stop for lunch. Recommended by several people, the food was good, the wine was good and the service was good. The place was packed at lunch while other cafes around us were only half full. Many locals there as well. Good choice for a nice leisurely... More
