This is the worst meal we had in Italy (ever), really the place was dirty, the waiter was rude, the wine watered and the food awful. I had a Funghi porcini Rissoto, that was nothing but badly boiled rice and soggy mushrooms, and some very dry and thin piece of meet that tasted like cardboard. I was really pissed, because... More

This little ristorante is well worth the trip. Our group of four walked there from the port area and it took about 20 mins. We all enjoyed our food which was brought out piping hot. The service was friendly and helpful. We had the pasta of the day, I type of macaroni and cheese and fried patata anti pasta. Delicious!... More

In a scruffy little street that is part of the market during the day. Food is good sicilian and house wine a very reasonable price. Went twice good both times

Nice place and nice people. It's a little place located close to Via Roma; hard to find via Google Maps. Food: I ordered pasta with almond pesto; creative! But not so tasty. The chicken with citrus sauce was however quite nice.

No one recommended this place to us, we just stumbled upon it while walking night streets of Palermo. It's a small cozy place, staff is very friendly. We had different kinds of pasta there - fish and vegetable. Both tasted delicious, we had to order again :-) I also had sicilian meat rolls which were very good, just not enough... More

Just walked in because speciality of the day was pasta with sardines and we were not disappointed. We tried another pasta dish and risotto too. Dessert was delicious. Service was tops. Family run. Very efficient and helpful.

Amazing Caponata & Casarecce Vucciria. Family run with lovely homey feel, got just few tables so come in time, don't hurry and enjoy the experience.

We ate lunch here our first full day in Palermo. The food was excellent and even though the Vucciria market isn't what it used to be, the restaurant still has the feel of an authentic hangout for the market traders. It did not feel overly touristy at all. Service was very accommodating and the price was very reasonable - EUR... More

I went here by chance with a friend of mine, as we were staying around the corner at a B&B. She has celiac disease and can't eat wheat or gluten products. The cook was happy to cook the special pasta we brought, and even used a different pot of water to avoid contamination. The food was excellent, and the service... More
