Family run restaurant with Enzo overseeing the operation. Had 2 geat dinners. On our first night in Palermo, Enzo took us under his wing and walked us around the neighborhood. he was great! The food was great also. The mother and the son, who is a highly trained chef, puts out some great meals. Great find, tucked away on a... More

We ate in some pretty amazing places in Sicily travelling west to east and back again. Palermo was our last stop and we found Palazzo Sambuca by accident fortunately staying near by. It's a beautiful family run restaurant of the highest standard with a modern feel but with informal family charm. The father was our host and son in the... More

As an American living in Palermo, my husband and I (who are both serious foodies) make it a point to check out the local “ristoranti” near by. Well, happy to say (in addition to my first review) we have found a second wonderful restaurant called Ristorantino Palazzo Sambuca. If you want fresh local fish or ‘frutta del mare, then this... Had dinner here this evening. Husband had the fish and eggplant appetizer which was good and the pasta with shrimp and tomatoes which he enjoyed. For an appetizer I had the shrimp ceviche which I did not like (but if you enjoy raw shrimp you may like this.) I then had the red wine risotto which I did not enjoy... More

Recommended by the concierge at our hotel and it lived up to every word. The service was professional but friendly and the food was just beautiful both to look at and to eat. Will most certainly try and return.

This restaurant was recommended by the front desk. It was a little bit hard to find but after consulting our map we got there. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good, maybe a touch inventive. Nice wine selection. The price was reasonable. We will go back.

We had the great pleasure to dine once again at this fine restaurant almost a year later, and are as impressed and enthused about this place as we were before. Although the restaurant was filled almost to the last seat, we were given the personal, special attention by the staff that makes a dining experience memorable along with the first-rate... More

It was a highlight of our recent trip to dine at this fine restaurant in the old part of Palermo. The atmosphere is intimate, the fish dishes exquisite in presentation and taste, the wine list extensive, and the price in line with the quality of the culinary experience. It is worth mentioning that the service is exceptional: the owner and staff... More
