We had the pleasure of eating at Mounir after arriving in Palermo late last night. The food is absolutely delicious, and very cheap! You definitely wont leave here feeling hungry - a kebab costs only €3.50 and a pizza costs €4.50 !! The owner cooks everything himself, and he makes you feel at home. I would definitely recommend this hidden... More

It was out last night in Palermo so we decided to seek out Mounir as it was around the corner from our hotel. None of us speak Italian, so our Italian adventure has been interesting. However, as Canadians, we do speak French. It was great to see that the staff were all from French speaking Tunisia (in addition to fluent... More

I made this a must as I had seen how highly ranked this place was. I came very early (7.45 pm ish) and Mounir was still cooking the Tunisian sides. It was ridiculously hot in there so think he was a little moody as a result. I managed to speak to him in my limited Arabic. There isn't much room... More

After 10 days of having superb Italian food, we were craving for something different. That is when we chanced upon this kebab joint run by the jovial Mounir! We tried the Kebab Pizza which was great, however the highlight for us for were the various Tunisian sides! We tried a dish which had spicy lamb kebab and herbs mix baked... More

Our hotel was just across the street and after two weeks in Italy we wanted something different so we went to this place based on TA reviews! It was so good. The kebab an the pizza kebab were great and very cheap.

When I red all the comments I though pizza will be something special, but really disappointed. Pizza is cheap, bottom of the pizza is perfect, but the ingredients was horrible and tasteless so it makes the average pizza.

Very good pizza (not too expensive), but I think this restaurant is really sur-evaluated on tripadvisor...

Popped in after reading the reviews on this and I certainly was not disappointed! Got a Margarita pizza for €3.50 and it was unbelievable. My only regret was not going back for more!

This is a little Kebab Pizza and tunisian food Kiosk in the historic center of the city. Plastic chequered tablecloths and paper napkins are provided for the few plastic tables located outside the kiosks per se. Mr Mounir, the owner and cook, is as kind as you can be; the waiter who attended our table was friendly too. We tried... More
