We enjoyed this restaurant that we returned a few times during our 10 night stay in palermo. Food was very good, but the menu is limited so it did not do much for us to return more. The fried seafood was fantastic with baby octopus, sardines and shrimps. We loved the chocolate Torroncino with ice cream. This was divine. Sicilian... More

The day I found this restaurant was when my tired shopping legs would not carry me any longer and it seemed most of the city was not yet ready open for service. The second time I had lunch with a family member for similar reasons....but....this time...I knew in advance I would enjoy it. The first time I ate at Volo... More

We are staying in Palermo for 7 nights and so far have been here twice so far, once for lunch and once for dinner. We walked by one day and read the menu which was well priced (for the most part, certain things were expensive-for good reason, lobster soup, €50 etc) So we popped in, they speak ok English which... Food was extremely good and very well presented - the chef obviously takes pride in his work. Prices weren't noticeably different from other restaurants in central Palermo and the quality was definitely better than the average. Count on having desert though (also delicious) as the portion sizes are a touch small. Located conveniently just near the Politeama square.

We like to eat in the afternoon, not late at night, and this can be a challenge in Italy and Spain. Fortunately for us we found the Volo open aftervwe exhausted us shopping in Palermo. The Caprese was tasty, even though could have been presented a bit better, and the Pizzas were very good too. Service was good, and quicker... More

Volo has a small outdoor area serving diners, the inside of Volo looked to me more like a bar or a club. On the night of our visit, the restaurant was not hugely popular - some locals and some tourists had found their way to Volo and no reservation was needed. The outdoor area is packed between two tall buildings:... More

The food is good, stylishly presented, even the portions are small. Together with Al Viale on the opposite side of Via della Liberta is a quiet and warm alternative for a dinner out.

The area is fancy- easy to rak on the side street in the evening. Great atmosphere of the bar- nice music, great space, outdoor space, but no nice view, just facing busy street Food is pretentious, "wanna be", but after all we got a fancily arranged pasta and a very hard stuffed squid (which I make better at home myself).... We decided to take a walk up via Liberta from our hotel, past this restaurant and checked the prices and would return after shopping for gifts, I find the best gifts in supermarkets, food stuffs, much cheaper than the tourist areas, on the way hope will bundles, and rain coming, we stopped and thought the Volo was closed, but there... We ate twice at this restaurant when we were staying in Palermo. Good food, and really great service. Wonderful place to eat in the evening, with a huge tree enveloped into the architecture of the building. We had free drinks from the owner on one of the evenings! Really friendly waiters, great cocktails too.
