The fish was fresh and grilled right outside on the sidewalk. The service was a bit slow but it was a Sunday afternoon when we were there along with everyone else in town! The view of the water was nice from the outdoor tables. It was a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon and walking distance to our hotel.

We came across this Seafood Trattoria whilst out walking along the seafront in Palermo on a Sunday afternoon. just along from a lovely Galetaria to the left. It was buisy with locals having a Sunday lunch out so we took a chance and it came up trumps with lovely seafood--- calamari and white bait and then swordfish topped with pistachios... More

We chose our fish and waited (rather longer than we expected) while it was cooked. Salads arrived and were finished (since we were getting hungry!) before fish arrived. Good value (under €25 a head including drinks) and tasty. Near the marina on wide boulevard (unusual amount of space for Palermo!) - not quite in sight of the sea.

Taxi recommended we went there. As the hotel we're staying at is next door we tried it last night. Avoid this tourist trap at all costs. I guess they do a good trade by all the tourists but clearly don't like foreigners whether you speak Italian (which I do) or not. He would be all smiles one second when serving... More

We had been at the market in Piazza. Marina and came upon this restaurant. We had the set fish menu - excellent value - mussels first, then pasta sarde, then salad, then grilled sword fish, then fruit (orange and strawberry). It was all delicious. Our only complaint was that it was all served too quickly. With quantities like that one... More

Had a late lunch as I was flying back to UK the next morning. This is good honest Sicilian food, fresh and tasty, not complex nor did it need to be. I had a fish soup starter followed by pasta with a "scent of the sea", clams and mussels. A good white wine and a cheap bill.
