Very Unique Vibe

Stumbled across this place one evening. Definately were intrigued by the Inquisition Styled Entry manequin. Had the mixed bruschetta appetizer, great flavors we both enjoyed. Pizzas as main course were delicious, perfectly cooked and very flavorful.

The two of us both ate here caponata after having no breakfast. Service was quick and polite, food was tasty, yet after a few hours we both felt sick. I had diarrhea so intense even the next day I stayed in bed and close to the toilet. My colleague felt worse that evening, felt nauseous, but got better for the... More

Nicely located in a beautiful square and an interesting atmosphere. We enjoyed good basic food with true italian flare served in nice portions . The weather was gorgeous. Service was not the strongest point.

We loved the pizza here - enough to go back a second night. Nice location across from the park. Interesting sign out front.

The restaurant is in a pleasant quiet square around the gardens of Garibaldi. We had a relaxed lunch. Food was good, not sophisticated, but well cooked and big portions. Massive glasses of wine. What let the place down was the lack of service. We had to ask for everything (no bread, serviette, spoon, tools for lobster etc.) - frustrating when... More

We had just ordered our meal and the bruschette arrived when the heavens opened. The outdoor umbrellas could not cope with such a heavy downpour and all of the guests sitting outside had to move indoors. The staff rushed round to move food, drinks and accommodate us inside. We actually preferred our intimate corner table inside an interesting cellar restaurant... More

The restaurant was recommended by our B&B near by. The food and wine was just excellent, so was the service. The only thing that could be improved was that we could have done with a bit more time between the courses as portion sizes are quite big:)

We ate here for an evening meal in July - it's well situated and relatively quiet. However, the service here was terrible. Firstly, it was slow - 45 minutes to bring the bill was a highlight. Secondly, the staff were rude and pushy. In terms of the food, it was decidedly average, but nothing more. Certainly, not of a quality... More

The Pizza was good. The pizza had a little too much cheese. The Nero' Davola wine was good, but a little warm. The beer was ok. The salads were enormous. The restroom was not very clean. The roasted vegetables were good but a bit plain.

We ate at this restaurant simply because it was close to the hotel and it was our 1st night. The meal was adequate in a lovely setting on the Piazza Verde. The menu covered all the usual staples , with the addition of pizza, and the usual bias towards seafood. Wine list was acceptable and the prices fair. There are... More
