Good food, austere atmosphere, a bit overpriced

Although the food was tasty (we ate pasta), the portions could have been bigger considering the prices. 2 portions of pasta, 1 dessert and a bottle of water costed us 45€! The atmosphere was a disappointment, almost no music (radio). The service was good, but a bit pretentious.

We enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food here so much, we came back the next day for a repeat performance. My husband felt that his meal (Stufato di Carni Miste) was the best he had on our two month trip to Italy and Scilly! The chocolate molten dessert was absolutely wonderful also.

Although the restaurant was recommended by my hotel, I initially hesitated to go in as it was empty but I needed refuge from the rain. Obviously the staff rallied round the first customer of the evening but they were attentive and not at all pushy. The menu had a good choice of seafood and meat dishes and the wine list... More

We found this restaurant near our hotel on very wet Sunday evening. The place is modern but has an intimate feel. The wine list and food menu was interesting and the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Just made breads were placed on the table as well as a small tasting plate to give the palate a zing. Prices for... More

Quiet place off a walking Street. The fish soup was very good. Service quite friendly. Nothing special but worth a trip if you're in the area

We happened to stubmle on this place on our last day in Palermo. We were supprised by the service and how nice the staff was. They were happy and cheerfull. And we felt very welcome. The food was a bit pricy for it's taste, but the service weighed up for it. We got a complimentary drink at the end of... More

Was the best food we tasted in our 4 night visit to Palermo and the best service. We stayed at B&B La Bella Vita and cannot fault this amazing small restaurant. Our taste buds really enjoyed this visit. Sam & Michelle

Low quality seafood, cold tea and very long waiting. 3 stars seem to be even a high ranking. Very small portions. A meal definitely not worth 100 euro.

We appreciated the welcome and good service. The people who had veal were very happy with their meals. I had swordfish and was disappointed as it was very bland. Still, a very nice evening.

We stumbled across this place by chance and i'm so glad we did. Beautfiul sample starters while you choose your meal. The beef carpaccio is out of this world, as is the pork fillet in pistachio crumb. My partner had the seabass and said he'd never had better. We rebooked for our anniversary the following night and were greeted as... More
