This restaurant is in a lovely setting by the marina. We had great seafood, including a pasta with sardines and fruits de mer. Decent local wine, too.

arrived in Palermo and found this place. food and service was great. 7 people = 153 euro. marinated swordfish salad, sadine balls, anchovies, octopus. Very little i would have changes.

It was that kind of place that you see at the piazza but you are not sure if this the place to eat at as it would be the place for all tourists. It was for tourists but the taste and quality was great although I had an issue with fish bones in my fish fillet. I loved the taste... More

We came here twice and enjoyed our meals both times. Service was good and the meals were very enjoyable. It was also in quite a pleasant setting in Piazza Marina. It was probably our fourth favourite of all the restaurants we went to in Palermo in the course of a fortnight, so not bad at all.

Went to this restaurant after the recommendation of our hotel. The waiters are nice and funny, always willing to give advice. Doesn´t cost much for the quality of the food, nice seating space outside overlooking the port.

After reading reviews on TA we decided to book this restaurant. We are staying in Palermo for one month and found great pizzas and snacks but good quality restaurants for evening dining seemed to be more difficult to find. In particular Piazza Marina is full of restaurants but feedback is very mixed. On arrival at La Cambusa we were offered... More

It is a bit of a struggle eating in Castellamare: too many restaurants serving virtually identical dishes. This is just one of the flock. Comfortable, decent service, average unexciting food. Being fished out, two of our party went for veal escalope usually as reliable as spag bol when all else fails. Here it was tired , dry and lacking in... More

The waiters were attentive and wore restaurant livery, not street clothes. This added a touch a class. The menu list is fairly short but all the food offered was inspired, well prepared and prettilly presented.

The pastas are just fantastic. We went twice (we were only in Palermo for three nights). Great service, delicious house wine. The risotto with seafood was one of the best things I've ever had. Definitely go here! You may want to book in advance if going after 9.

La Cambusa was recommended by local friends. The ambience was comfortable and the waiter was courteous and friendly. Our crudo or "seviche" of spigola garnished with orange sections and pink peppercorns was one of the best dishes we had in Palermo. My busiati alla trapanese was likewise one of the culinary highlights of my trip to Sicily. Fresh pasta with... More
