When you walk in you are awed by the height of the room in which there is a bar and library. The restaurant is upstairs in a covered courtyard. The food was not cheap for palermo but it was some of the best we are in palermo. Unfortunately my wife's main course was sea bass with Cous Cous and was... More

We dined at Kursaal Kalhesa on our first night in Palermo. Food was great and beautifully presented. We had a great bottle of wine recommended by waitress. Interesting location in the sea wall and great interior and atmosphere. One of the best meals we had in Palermo.

You enter through walls of golden stone by the sea which were the 16th century ramparts of Palermo. Their cavernous interior is now transformed into a charming bar, lounge and library on the ground floor and, upstairs, a very pleasant indoor/outdoor garden restaurant. Our dinner of local specialties (kindly explained in English for my benefit by the restaurant's manager) was... More

We were visiting Italy on our honeymoon and planned 2 nights in Palermo. Getting there and around was stressful, and we were really wanting a lovely place to dine and relax after the long day. Boy, did we find it. This sophisticated lounge and restaurant is one of our favorite finds of the whole trip. We had a beautiful Sicilian... More

Me and my girlfriend went here because of the many recomandations. We dint reserve a table but we mangaded to get a table later that night, even though they said it was fully booket (we noticed that there were plenty of empty tables later that night). We felt that we were often forgotten/overlooked and that we really weren't welcome. At... More

While the food is only average, but quiet pricy - the service is worst in Palermo. No one looked after our table, we had to go in to order some more water 30 minutes. Go to a nice pizzeria 300 more to the centre, half the price and much better food in quality and taste!

What a gem! Next to our hotel, quite hidden. We ordered a drink first downstairs and it was served with a platter of delicious nibbles. Then went to the roof top restaurant, nice food, good atmosphere.

Everything Elisabetta, the waitress, recommended was amazing. I had stuffed shrimp for a starter and the sea bass which was very fresh and delicious. The pistachio semifredo was probably one of the best desserts I've ever had. Afterwards I had a traditional espresso with a special liquor elisabetta brought out for me to try. Afterwards, I went to the bar... More

Every single dish was outstanding (3 different appetizers, main dishes, and desserts), the bread was flavorful and delicious, attentive and friendly staff spoke English and Italian. The decor was gorgeous-- a bubbling fountain and potted plants surround you as you eat.
