Great bar, good restaurant in stunning building

When you walk in you are awed by the height of the room in which there is a bar and library. The restaurant is upstairs in a covered courtyard. The food was not cheap for palermo but it was some of the best we are in palermo. Unfortunately my wife's main course was sea bass with Cous Cous and was... read more

Our hotel made a reservation on our request because we wanted to try the atmosphere. Our hotel did not recommend this place and now we know why. Extremly unfriendly staff, we had a reservation for the terasse but when we came there all was blocked by a private party. They wanted us to sit inside in a very small room... More

The restaurant is not easy to find but once you find it, you will "wow" because the inside is so special . Service is good. Food is good with pretty big portion. We can hardly eat any dessert .

Very nice atmosphere, nice service, good prices!!!! If you are in Palermo you have to go there! Not that easy to find the place cos they have no terrace outside but use google map or ask the taxi driver.

You wouldn't even know this was here. Situated next to our hotel, the building is amazing. High vaulted ceilings and so, so old. Beautiful. You can either choose to sit outside or in. We started off outside but it was a bit chilly so when we asked to move inside, it was no trouble at all. Lovely anti pasti and... More

We discovered KK early in our 11 days in Palermo, and just kept going back - twice for the wine bar section, once for the restaurant. We highly recommend the wine bar. The staff were warm, friendly and very knowledgeable about the wide variety of wines available by the glass. KK is set inside part of an old Arab building... More

We dined at Kursaal Kalhesa on our first night in Palermo. Food was great and beautifully presented. We had a great bottle of wine recommended by waitress. Interesting location in the sea wall and great interior and atmosphere. One of the best meals we had in Palermo.

You enter through walls of golden stone by the sea which were the 16th century ramparts of Palermo. Their cavernous interior is now transformed into a charming bar, lounge and library on the ground floor and, upstairs, a very pleasant indoor/outdoor garden restaurant. Our dinner of local specialties (kindly explained in English for my benefit by the restaurant's manager) was... More
