Great set up in a lovely Palermo square overlooking a cute church. Good local food. The appetisers were nice... But the service was appealing - the waiters run everywhere and ignore you. You have to wait in the middle of the square with no obvious queue system and hope to catch someone's attention. The live piano music was way too... More

After reading TA reviews we decided to eat lunch here. I order the seafood risotto. When it came out it had a few very small shrimps in the risotto and a few rings of squid. There was an Italian customer sitting next to our table and his seafood risotto looked quite different. His risotto had langastinos, large shrimp squid and... More

The idea if street food is certainly great, especially in a historical setting. However, caught in-between restaurant hours we were only able to get plastic tray, but were ushered away from outdoor tables in a manner that wasn't too apologetic. Focaccia is fine, in fact very good, but reheating sardines made them dry and the stuffing was heavy. Once restaurant... More

It is made for tourists, this must be clear. However, the food is not bad. What I liked most was the panini alla Milza. I didn't like that, although it is a charming place, the tables are very close one to each other and this takes value away. The desserts are good although they are really expensive.

This restaurant was highly-recommended by a friend and frequent visitor to Palermo. So it was high on our priority list and ended up being our first meal in Sicily. The outdoor setting was special, surrounded as we were on all four sides by beautiful architecture. Unfortunately, the service was really awful. We were there for a late lunch, so perhaps... More

We came here after reading TripAdvisor reviews. It is quite cheap, food came fast, at least part of the order, had to remind three times that they forgot my focaccia, waiter presented no excuse... service charge 2€ each.. Location is nice.

We went there both for an aperitivo as well as dinner. Dinner was very good: there is a daily menu suggested by the chef or you can order from the menu. Both very good and the quantity of food is huge. Desserts; canolli are really not worth it while the traditional Cassata is fantastic! During the afternoon however, watch out... More

We waited over an hour to be served by the unfriendly and nonchalant staff. The food was good but we were so disappointed with the terrible service that it ruined the whole experience - and it is not cheap!! Tourist trap par excellence :((

The last time I visited Palermo I had to skip the Focacceria due to the insane amount of queue. I managed to stop and have a bite this time, thanks to the weekday lunch visit. I had great expectations for the place, and not all of them were met. The place itself is really neat - the traditional decor and... More
