A good memeory for this short stay in palermo. Comfortable sit outside at night. Maybe not too much asia faces there, so we got really good service at that night :-)

This restaurant was a great lunch stop on our second full day in Palermo. I don't speak Italian, but it was handy to associate the labels (Italian and English) with dishes served from the cases. Maybe the slow service complaints came from folks who sat down at set tables on one side of the courtyard and waited to be served... More

This place has quite a reputation, but I'm not entirely sure why. The seafood risotto was, in fact, excellent, but the service was incredibly slow, and the wine list was unnecessarily expensive. If I returned, I would probably not bother with another sit-down meal here. However, they do offer a nice selection of street food, and I would be inclined... More

Considering the reputation of this place, i did not find that the food is really good. Moreover, it is expensive. However, I would recommend it because you can sit outside in a beautiful square surrounded by the a nice church (one of the most beautiful) and some paintings in close to the tables

Unquestionably the worst meal I had in Palermo, and quite possibly in my 3 years of traveling to Italy. I ordered pasta with mint and swordfish, and was rewarded with the worst tomato-based sauce I've ever had outside of a high school cafeteria - after hours of trying to figure out what the taste reminded me of, I realized: Campbell's... .....a fat guy standing around ignoring customers and telling hard working staff to run around him 'literally'. There is a €2 service charge per person, so lunch for 2 was €30 plus €4. That's 13%ish service charge. When paying, the fat controller short changed me by €6 and clearly thought I would let this go. Upon pointing this out he... More

Great for a quick stop for some of Palermo best street food. Pane panelle e cazzilli my fauvorite. It also has a proper restaurant, but I didn't try it.

This is an old historical establishment, there cafe had average food, it was not as fresh as it could have been especially in the evening. It's good for a quick snack with a glass of wine while siting in the outdoor area in the Church plaza which is lovely.

A couple of friends who lived in Palermo for a few years took us around the city. At around lunch time they suggested the Antica Focacceria. It's located in a very quiet side street in the city center of Palermo. The terrace is gourgeous, whith the restaurant on one side and a church on the other. We had some great... More

Reasonable pricing, but unexciting food. No complaints except they did not have my first two wine choices, but would not go back.
