Not bad!

They offer good pizza. Their kebab is good as well. I've order a cocktail there once, well, it was a huge mistake - it was warm and disgusting. Don't order cocktails!

Searching for a pizza we entered in this scary (since it was empty, I'd guess) little place. We found out only later it was a Tunisian restaurant also offering pizzas. We got a couple but when the cook was giving the final touch to them - a bit of oil - the bottle stopper came of and the burned pizza... More

The service was, at best, perfunctory and at worst, insulting. The drinks were dubious versions of what they should have been. The prices were high for what we had. And the food was tasteless. This place was recommended in a guide book from a few year's back - either it's gone horribly wrong, or we hit it on a bad... More

I went to La Traviata with a group of 6 friends last night. Although the people are friendly, there is not enough staff and those working there are not trained properly/run off their feet. We had to wait over 45 minutes for out starters and another 45 minutes for a very average pizza. Saturday night is going to be busy... More

We went there for dinner time during the week, food was tasty and good. But our table cloth and our kettlery were so dirty...it's a pity because they were so friendly with us! We will turn back if they will buy a new kitchen!!!

We ate at La Traviata on the evening of the last day in November, 2012, shortly after taking a bus from the airport to our B&B. We both had pizza. I tried the tuna and was quite pleased with my first taste of Sicily. My friend had a pizza with ham and some leafy greens on top, which she said... More

I was totally amazed at the value of the huge delicious fish couscous served with masses of vegetables and an extra bowl of veg and sauce - I could not finish it - friend had a great Crepe, and they served Red Eric beer - on of the few places we could get any red or dark beer. Couple of... More

My wife and I actually ate here twice not realizing every place in this piazza serves food from the same kitchen. We sat down both times in the piazza area (there is more formal seating in the back) just to have a few drinks and a light meal. The pizza was better than average. I had a kabob which was... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a Palermitan and he was spot-on. We had the best couscous anywhere in Sicily at this place. Love how they serve the extra bowl of broth so your couscous doesn't go dry. The service was totally efficient even though it was packed out - mostly with locals, it seemed - as well as... More

The Piazza Olivella area is full of dozens of restaurants, most of which come to life only in the evening. Popular with the younger crowd, they come and go. La Traviata is the real deal, a long-established eatery offering exceptional cuisine. The most popular dishes here are Tunisian. Couscous, with meat, fish or vegetables, is a mainstay, and the turkey... More
