Local with good service and food

Food arrived quickly and was hot. Handy and reasonably priced near the Pretoria fountain in a quiet spot near San Cataldo church entrance. If you are staying near to Quatro Canti useful to know and can walk to it in five minutes. Bill was reasonable and vista tranquil for Palermo.

We found this restaurant on our way around the city. It is nice place to have a break and try some food. However, at the time of out visit they served just pizza and fruit so we went for pizza which was great :-) Coffee after that was OK in all aspects (e.g. good taste or no plastic cups as... More

Enjoyed various pastas and pizza. Fish stew good. Pizza was first class. House wine pretty good. Staff cheery at 7pm, maybe they get surly as the night wears on? Lovely setting in the piazza Bellini. About to relocate to nearby Don Gelato for puds and coffee.

Good simple food and so reasonably priced. Swordfish in an orange sauce was excellent. Lovely piazza.

Following a late arrival in Palermo, we went to Pizzeria Bellini because we were very hungry after a day of flying and the restaurant was very close to our lodging. We had been told that there were better restaurants in the area, but this one was the most convenient. We enjoyed sitting out in the attractive old square under the... More

I wanted to write this review as many of the other reviewers just mention the pizza. I'm sure that's good but I'd encourage people to order from the wider menu. We had octopus caponata and the sicilian antipasti for starters then the cartoccio marinara and ravioli filled with prawns in a pumpkin sauce. All were good, and the antipasti and... More

We arrived late evening dumped our bags and headed for Bellini. We were told this was a good place to eat by our hotel concierge. It had a decent atmosphere, a couple of tables of vibrant diners chatting and eating. I was very amused to see the lengthy negotiations that a nearby table of Italians went through to sort out... My husband and I didn't want to travel far for a meal, (as we had been out all day sight seeing) & we were quite tired. We came across the Bellini restaurant and sat outside, a great ambience. I ordered 'Pasta' for a change, (as I am not a lover of pasta) the pasta was amazing, I enjoyed it so... More

On our last evening in Palermo, we were very tired and did not want to go to a formal restaurant and order three or four courses with wine etc. What we wanted was something casual but of course nice and with some sort of atmosphere. This place was just what we were looking for. The staff were very friendly. I... More
