Great Homemade Pasta

Outstanding food and wine... Good atmosphere. Did not speak great English but still tried to help us when ordering the wine.

Dined here for a special occasion on saturday night. The hotel had phoned ahead to make a reservation for me at 10pm. When we arrived we had a lovely table in the corner outside. Staff we very helpful and friendly. The owner was taking me through the fresh fish of the day. I chose sea bream which was superb and... More

We had a great meal. Great atmosphere, staff and food. Worth a visit while in Catania if you want a relaxed, traditional meal. Definitely recommend.

As is often the case, we arrived "early" for dinner while the staff was still eating. Nevertheless, we were greated with smiles and had good service. The food was excellent and we appreciated the way portions were split for us. A very pleasant meal

This place is very reasonable priced for food and drink. Has a separate bar area for before or after dinner drinks. Lovely staff and the owner is very hands on with the service. Nicely themed local decor and is well patronised by local people. Menu is themed on regions of Sicily as are the wines. Bottles of wine start from... More

I am from Sicily and as a Sicilian I know what Sicilian meal means. This is surely one of the best restaurant in my city where you can find a proper Sicilian food made with good ingredient and properly cooked. The waiter is highly competent. I appreciated also the menu distinct by city. On each city you can find the... More

The night we dined at Tale, we were the only foreigners. The restaurant was fully booked by locals, families and business people. Easy to understand why: the quality of the food is amazing. The waiter is old-school and highly competent; his approach should not be misunderstood as arrogant, as he does an excellent job, but rather as pride in the... More

This is a "barn of a place" and though they have tried to give it some character with musical instruments on the wall - character is hard to attain. Perhaps there could be a bit more atmosphere if the lighting was dimmer! The food is excellent though and can't be faulted as was the service. ONLY open in the evenings... More

It's a nice restaurant unfortunally placed in not a good position in Catania. I have to say that the pizza was good (but I had better in catania)..but the waiters were nice but the service vvvvveryyyyyyyyy slow...we waited too much to eat. the price are a little bit expensive in my opinion.
