Arrived with my family and the waitress took her time to explain the menu and gave suggested plates. Efficient service, clean and very good service !

This place looked super cool with tables and chairs blocking the street, that we decided we must check it out. We had to go on a waiting list and wait on benches outside. It we'll worth the wait! We were given the opportunity to join a communal table with 2 other couples that were also waiting. The best aperitif EVER!... More

We loved Razmataz! As soon as we walked in, we knew this was going to be a great experience. The glass of sparkling wine for an opener was absolutely fantastic. It was ice cold, dry and poured generously by eye, something I always like to see in a bar. The wine list was simple, well-priced (EUR 4-7 per glass) and... More

This wine bar was next to our hotel I Vespri and so we just had to try it. Tables and chairs outside, street closed to traffic and such a wonderful location under some trees, keeping the area cool in such a hot city. Popular with locals and tourists alike. Cheap local wine, but surprisingly good quality for the price. Wish... More

We stumbled across this place by accident- and what a fortunate accident- we went back again two days later- for dinner this time, instead of lunch! My friends and I all had different dishes (both for lunch and dinner); so we could try different dishes all round. The chef came out and met us- we loved the food! A quick... More

Lovely place to eat or drink! Every evening brings a surprise with the apparience of the black board: "what will be served tonight?" Very friendly staff, also French speaking; sometimes you must be patient to get served.

Very good sicilian food! Amazing salad (with real tomatoes) followed by an excellent fresh fish course (Involtini di Spigola) and Pasta alla Norma. The place, atmosphere and friendly (and english speaking) staff was amazing. Last but not least, you can eat outside under a very good shade ;-)

What a little gem! I think we may have jumped the queue for a table but we got away with it! We started with a glass of wine with a plate of appetizers and then a couple of chalk boards were hung on the wall with tat day's menu on them. The food was excellent, all local and all very... More

We went there for drinks because it looked like fun and a good place. However we found that the beer there was the most over priced expensive drink we have had in Catania. EUR5 for one small beer served in a disposable plastic cup!

The staff were really helpful and pointed us in the direction of a couple Sicilian wines that were great to taste and outstanding value which also applied to the food which was superb and good value. The place has a really nice feel to it and I wish I was back there now. When we get back to Catania this... More
