This is a charming little restaurant/ cafe just off of the Via Etna. Not many tables and it got busy both lunchtimes we visited so advisable to book in advance. The decor inside is quirky and appealing. The food was simple but excellent, home made. Good value for money too. It had the feel of being... read more

We stumbled across this place on a Wednesday evening when everywhere else seemed to be shut. We arrived about 7pm ish and were told they started serving dinner at 8pm. We ordered a bottle of wine and antipasta. At 8pm the place absolutely filled with locals, so we knew the food must be good. It took a long time to... More

We were recommended to this wine bar, arrived, sat down and were totally ignored. Then 10 minutes later 3 locals arrived looking for a table. We were kicked off our table to make way for them and the ignorant rude waiter claimed it was reserved. Looking forward to going home. Will not be returning to Sicily.

We stumbled upon this place and were pleasantly surprised. The service was great and our waiter was very friendly. He took his time to explain the menu to us and was very attentive. The food was delicious - some of the best we had during our stay in Catania and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Lovely atmosphere, good selection of wines and tapas. When busy, the staff may be a bit slower, but we didn't mind to wait a bit. Also some of the food prices were a bit higher, but we came back the next day anyway.

We arrived around 4 on a Sunday and even though the kitchen was closing, they sat down to review what was left of the daily specials and were able to get what we wanted! Lovely place with a terrace and heat lamps and staff who speak a bit of English. Excellent find on this afternoon of getting lost.

Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic food, great staff, nothing is too much trouble staff speak a number of European languages, Menu changes daily, every dish fantastic, a special place where you really can watch the world go by, whilst eating the best in Sicilian cuisine along with a great bottle of wine. In particular the "Veal Pie" and Liquorice Panna Cotta with... More

We had to wait a little but that was fine since it usually means it's good. Friendly service and nice local cuisine. Slightly touristic prices but the locals seem to eat there too. There didn't seem to be too many good places open during siesta time so we were happy to find this place.

We stopped off here a few times for an afternoon drink and to people watch. It does get very busy so you may have to wait for a table. They do offer food and the menu looks exiting whilst I didn't eat one of my mates had the chessecake which looked lovely and the other had a pasta and mushroom... More
